Nice lunch buffet, quick service

There are a lot of people and you sit close together Unfortunately my plaice was not that good

I was there on Saturday 1/8-2026 with DF, and it was a lovely ❤️ experience!!! We had the popular dish of fried pork with parsley sauce, boiled potatoes and pickled beetroot cubes a la carte plus wine, beer or soda. Finally we had Irish Coffee, and I ordered pancakes for my own money. It tasted great, and the parsley sauce was rarely thick, delicious and full of parsley!! It was packed, so there was a long wait to get both food and drinks! But the staff was sweet and service-minded, and the orchestra Bumles Venner played and sang well!!

The prices are at typical Bakken levels, perhaps slightly on the higher side, but the quality leaves nothing to be desired. Combined with the attentive and cheerful service, everything ends up feeling well balanced and absolutely worth it. A place I can warmly recommend.

Fantastically delicious food. Sweet waiters. VERY NOISY and the tables are too close together. The poor waiters can't keep up either. They rush back and forth, and it takes a long time between orders because of the hustle and bustle.

It is positive that you don't have to pay for water when you buy wine. Their shrimp cocktail is something special. Fresh and experienced waiters.

You can eat well here. Good service and atmosphere.

The food is absolutely delicious, the portions are generous and the service is friendly. We had made it a point to forget that "table outside" means smoke, which is always a pain.

Roast pork ad libitum is always good at Den hvide hest. Slightly busy staff, nice and friendly.

I recently visited Restaurant Hvide Hest on Bakken, and it was a really good experience! The service was super nice, and the service was incredibly fast. We felt really welcome from start to finish. We ordered their fried pork, and although the first portion was a little too dry, the waiter took our feedback immediately. It didn't take long before a completely new portion arrived, and it was exactly as it should be – crispy and delicious. My brother got a plaice that was the size of half a dinner plate, and it was perfectly cooked. There was, however, a little bit of disappointment that their marzipan roulade is no longer on the menu, as we had been looking forward to it. But you have to innovate every now and then, so we understand that of course. You really get food for your money here, and the portions are huge. All in all, a fantastic experience with top-notch service. I highly recommend a visit if you are in Bakken and need good, solid food!
