Huge recommendation! We were so lucky to get a table without a reservation and everybody was very friendly. We had a wonderful evening with incredible food and nice talk with one of the waiters. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Kolding. Than you again for making our last evening of our Denmark vacation so special ❤️

GREAT evening and dining experience! We luckily snatched the last table and we are so happy we did! I would recommend making a reservation though. Outstanding service and friendliness by everyone of the staff and absolutely delicious flavour combinations I didn't ever taste before. Every dish was explained in detail and the staff clearly love what they do. Lively but not loud atmosphere where everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We will definitely recommend and visit again the next time we are in or near Kolding. A bit pricey, yes, but outstanding value for the money we paid.

A cozy and intimate restaurant with incredibly friendly and professional staff. The food is of high quality – fresh ingredients, an exciting variety of tartar and fantastic smørrebrød! I will definitely come back.

A cozy and intimate restaurant with incredibly friendly and professional staff. The food is of high quality – fresh ingredients, an exciting variety of tartar and fantastic smørrebrød! I will definitely come back. p.s. The only downside is the parking problem – although there are many spaces, they are usually all taken.

Really delicious and tasty smørrebrød they have at Restaurant Johansens - it's definitely worth a visit. Really polite staff and the service was good. An extremely good experience and not least really good food.

10/06/2025: We were 3 people on a Saturday night, had booked a table, it is often necessary at that restaurant, we got a lovely table close to the window facing the harbor, great service from a young male waiter, and the restaurant was almost full. We ordered, like many others in the restaurant, Stjerneskud with everything, and there is nothing missing, here they also use crayfish tails on the menu, as well as delicious shrimp, boiled and fried plaice and of course a piece of salmon with black caviar and salad. It is delicious, it is also a large meal, as long as it is fish, it does not fill up in the same way as beef. It is always worth a visit.

26/06/2025: Delicious Brunch at a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and attentive. Mocha is highly recommended.
20/06/2025: Cozy place, attentive and nice waiter, the food was good, I would have liked to have had french fries instead of potatoes, but it tasted unremarkable. Alivele, a good place to eat.
