Restaurant Kalo Ringkøbing-Skjern

During our stay in Ringkøbing, we visited Restaurant Kalo twice. The fact that we returned after the first visit is certainly a good sign, but there are a few caveats. The food is quite good and affordable. The first evening, we both had a pizza with salmon, spinach, and cheese (and lots of arugula). The second evening, we had a hamburger with fries and a beef tenderloin. The restaurant's decor could be a bit more atmospheric, and the music is a bit too loud. The service is prompt but businesslike. It feels a bit rushed, and they mostly make eye contact with their iPads. We were addressed in German several times, even though we spoke English and aren't German. That felt a bit unprofessional.

My mother-in-law had invited us out to eat and we were recommended Kalo because of their good steaks. We had some tasty dishes. It was good, but it wasn't for 5 ✨✨✨✨✨

Quite decent for a snack, price OK The only thing that bothers me is the smell of the public restroom.

Looks fancy, but pizza is sub par.

We had the Kalo Speciale pizza. An absolutely fantastic pizza. The service was excellent. I highly recommend it.

Very tasty at reasonable prices these days. The manager even spoke German to me while we were paying, and ordering beforehand went smoothly in English.
