Restaurant Karla København

We went there on the evening of November 7th and had a very good meal. The starter (karla gravad laks) was fresh and the salmon was high quality. The main courses: floeskesteg med redkål was a real treat with very tender pork; karla gryde med svinemørbrad was also very good and generous, with just a little too much sauce. For dessert, we shared a Danish crepe with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream. It was a classic crepe, not the traditional Danish (rounded) one. We didn't particularly like it because it was flavored with orange and the whipped cream didn't have much flavor. The service was quick and the staff very pleasant. The place was a bit noisy because some customers were talking loudly, but you could still chat with the people at your table. For a starter, two main courses, a dessert, a beer, and a Schweppes, we paid 742 DKK. I would still like to understand why we didn't have a real Danish pancake...

I just ordered a vegan burger and can simply say that this has been the best I have had so far. The service was really quick as well. But if you go on weekends ensure to have a booking since it gets really busy. Friendly staff and pleasent

Lovely atmosphere in the cellar and local food! We'd call it "good, traditional German fare." Absolutely recommended and worth a visit! The service is also friendly and very attentive.
