Good Old fashion armosphere, good tradition

The midday meal is all smorrebrod and they are delicious. The attention is very good and friendly. Super recommended to have a Danish experience.

Was looking forward to having Smørrebrød in København and came across the quaint establishment. The stirred tartar and fillet of fish with remoulade were absolutely fantastic and the service was even better. Great experience.

An authentic Danish dish. It's a smörebrød restaurant. It's just different toppings on brown bread. As an Asian tourist, the service here is really great. I saw that the customers next to me were all locals. The waiter will come many times to ask how the food tastes and is very friendly. When they saw the water glass on my table was empty, they came to help me fill it with water. I ordered the fried fish and shrimp topping. Except that the Thousand Island sauce on the top was a little too much, the fried fish was crispy and not too hot. The shrimp was not big but super fresh and elastic. Really worth recommending. After the waiter collects the main course plates, he will come and ask if you want to eat dessert immediately or take a rest. I ordered an authentic Danish apple pie dessert, which is to put a little bit of crushed digestive biscuits at the bottom of a regular ice cream cup, then a thick layer of cooked apple puree, add a little bit of apple crumble, and a layer on top. Fresh whipped cream. A very special dessert, with a very simple taste, only the sweetness of apple puree. For an Asian stomach, just ordering one main dish is enough.

The restaurant was very beautiful and traditionally decorated. The food is delicious and cooked with pure ingredients. The service was very kind and helpful. Very nice and different experience! I recommend it!

Really nice lunch restaurant with super service

We came looking for something typical (10/10), cheap (€50 per head, it's not cheap...) but it's incredible!! We ordered salmon and beef tartare toast.

Superschöner, sehr typisch eingerichteter Laden im Souterrain. Sehr gemütlich. Wir wurden vom sehr freundlichen Chef an einen Tisch gesetzt, der sich vorbildlich kümmerte auf perfektem Englisch. Er erklärte uns, wie man typischerweise Smørrebrød isst und wie groß wir die Portionen einzuschätzen haben. Er erklärte, 2 Portionen sind üblicherweise „genug“ und dazu trinke man ein Bier und einen Schnaps. Die ausgewählten Essen (traditionelles Beeftatar, gerührtes Beeftatar und hähnchensalat) waren großartig. Top Angerichtet, eine ausreichende Portion. Nach Portion waren wir nicht komplett voll sondern angenehm satt). Der Kellner war total aufmerksam und nett und komplett unaufdringlich. Der Preis war sehr gut und fair. Ich würde das Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
