To this day the greatest thing I have ever eaten. I lay awake at night thinking about the next time I visit Denmark, knowing that this awaits me.

Visited in October for lunch. The restaurant is cozy, elegant, and offers a pleasant atmosphere. It is on the expensive side, though. We were a couple with two small dogs — thankfully, the place is pet-friendly, but only outside of peak hours. The menu primarily focuses on smørrebrød with various topping options. We ordered the fish fillet with shrimp and the tartare — both were delicious. For dessert, we tried the rhubarb pudding, which was nice, and the local chocolate, which came as two very small pieces and felt overpriced. Overall, we had a great experience. If you’re visiting the area and want to try traditional Danish flavors, we recommend giving this place a try.

Very unique place. Love the concept of the food. Staff said the seasoned herring was their favourite and it was definitely something different. Would come to try again

We came in for lunch. They serve open faced sandwiches. Great service too! The sandwiches were delicious.

The food was Michelin-starred and very delicious!! I never knew fish could be this fresh and luxurious.

I visited this place as a walk-in for lunch, and the food was absolutely delicious. It tasted like I was eating at a Michelin-starred restaurant, and the beer was also delicious. You really have to try the three kinds of pickled herring!
