Tremendous experience well worth the trip. The level of creativity and care they put into each dish and element of the experience is outstanding. One of the best high end restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.

My wife and I have dined at numerous high-end Michelin-starred restaurants, but I can confidently say that this experience stands out as the best thus far. Chef Christian skillfully combines Korean and Danish cuisine, drawing from his extensive culinary journey. Each dish was prepared with the utmost care and presented at an exceptional level. The staff were all friendly and professional. (Please tell me if i should delete the menu photo if you want to keep it as a surprise for your guests) Thank you for the exquisite experience. If you find yourself in Copenhagen, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit; do not think twice.

Everything was excellent. Food, wine, atmosphere, service - all excellent.

Me and my husband were lucky to get a table at the very last minute. This is not just a beautiful dinner, we were inspired by the head chef’s philosophy. Koan merges Nordic and Asian culinary traditions. Baumann’s multicultural background shapes his unique cooking style. Koan fuses Nordic ingredients with Korean fermentation techniques for distinct flavors. We are teetotaler and the restaurant’s non-alcoholic pairings opened a whole new world to us. What’s more amazing is the 7-course desserts are creatively combine local and Korean influences.

You’d be silly if you didn’t go. It is one of my best meals, and the exceptional quality is consistent. I am sure of this because I go every three months.

Can I give 6 stars..... As experiences, food, and taste goes this may just be my favorite of all time experiences.

One of the best michelin restaurants where I have been. Would honestly say that it has out preformed some of the top ones for me in Copenhagen.

An absolutely fantastic experience. Thoughtful and beautiful dishes, but also brave and innovative. A beautiful mix of two cuisines. Fantastic wine, and classy service. Can definitely be recommended.

I think that it is great that Koan takes reservations for solo diners. The Korean-inspired menu is clearly unique to the Copenhagen culinary scene. The dishes were excellent; the setting/location was great; and the service was wonderful. I enjoyed conversing with Kristian Baumann and all of the servers and others who brought dishes and drinks to my table.
