Certainly some amazing dishes and some just okay and you may leave still a bit hungry if you have a large appetite. Service very coordinated and nice that the chef visited every table to greet and make you feel welcome. As other reviewers have said they seem keen on selling expensive champagne so may be more of a spot to show off considering the price.

I don't know if this restaurant is worth the money. It is very loud and increases after dark, it feels like a disco at 75 decibels. It has become a trend that there should be loud music when a restaurant has stars in the Michelin Guide. Then you get the feeling that they want to sell you expensive champagne and other drinks.

Dining at Koan was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We enjoyed the full tasting menu and savoured every bite. Each dish was beautifully crafted, balancing Korean roots with Nordic ingredients in a way that felt both deeply personal and incredibly refined. The sommelier’s wine recommendations perfectly complemented each course, and the evening service was flawless, attentive, warm, and thoughtful without ever feeling intrusive. The attention to detail extended far beyond the food: even the coffee, brewed with April beans and weighed with precision, reflected the team’s steadfast dedication to craft at every level. Koan is not just a meal but a carefully orchestrated journey that reflects Chef Kristian Baumann’s story and vision. It is an absolute must for anyone seeking one of Copenhagen’s finest and most memorable dining experiences.

Back to same restaurant in 20 years. Pretty changed, but still enjoyable experience!

The best Michelin restaurant I have ever visited! Service, food and wine were amazing! Nothing else but amazing and I can be picky on the details but nothing to pick on here.

We loved the food here (the dessert was a bit meh). Every dish was derved with a little story and the service was fast - very shortly after we were finished the plates got taken away. The wine was expensive (white from 150,- Per glass and red from 350,- Per glass). But overall we liked the food and How it was presents.☀️

Dining at this two-starred Korean restaurant is a truly memorable experience. The service strikes the perfect balance between professionalism and a relaxed, welcoming approach, creating an atmosphere that is both polished and inviting. The 15-course tasting menu showcases a balance of tradition and creativity, with precise execution and thoughtful flavors. I chose the non-alcoholic pairing, which was varied, well-matched, and brought an interesting dimension to the meal. Three standout dishes: Chilled lobster noodles – a well-balanced dish with delicate flavors and a sauce that complemented the sweetness of the lobster. Langoustines – cooked with precision, their natural taste enhanced by subtle seasoning Gamasot rice – a refined take on traditional Korean rice, simple but well-crafted. Overall, a refined and carefully curated meal, with an approach that respects both technique and ingredients. A solid choice for those interested in contemporary Korean cuisine.

This is the nicest and kind place I have ever been too. Food is great, clean and kind personal. Suggesting you to go there and spend a good time.
