What a fantastic experience. Jakob the host is so funny and provided us with a welcome cocktail for a special birthday. The food was spectacular. Crayfish tail and asparagus entrees were delicious. Pork and Beef so good. A fantastic experience

My wife and I went there for dinner . Lovely restaurant. Attentive staff. Food outstanding , we had the asparagus appetizer , the braised pork and the salmon entres , and the moose cake for desert. All were great! Nice selection of wines and very reasonably priced. Definitely would go back!

We spent Christmas in Copenhagen and booked the Christmas menu for two people in the Komplet restaurant for Christmas Eve (December 24th). The restaurant is easy to find as it is located near the Norreport metro station on a quiet side street. The house itself is an old, narrow half-timbered house. The guest room is on the 1st floor. A narrow staircase leads up. There aren't many tables. The ambience is appealing. That evening everything was festively decorated in white with small Christmas decorations. The guests were upscale and in a good mood. The Christmas menu was given as 3 courses. The food and the composition of the components are uniquely good. . tasty!!! Big compliments to the kitchen We had a table for two in the corridor that led to the serving kitchen. Not super ideal - of course there was a lot of running back and forth - so there was a lot of unrest. But of course it was acceptable since there were only two of us and it was probably fully booked. Unfortunately, our enthusiasm for the Christmas menu did not transfer to the service. The service consisted of the boss and a young, very polite man as an assistant. There were several incidents that made me angry with the boss: With the gin and tonic as an aperitif, the starter was served at the same time. So I couldn't start the evening comfortably. . . eat immediately! The main course was wonderful - but the portions were simply very large. It was not possible to take the significant remainder with us. That hurt :-) When paying, my tip was initially rejected accompanied by a tirade about the high taxes to be paid in Denmark. . . . This is how the evening ended in the restaurant. Personally, I had the impression that the boss has good business sense and organizational skills and can keep up with the competition thanks to the high quality of the food - but she simply has no training as a restaurateur. There is a lack of kindness and feeling for the situation. The thought occurred to her that SHE is the queen - and not the GUEST. The food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. I agree with the other reviews given: The Komplet restaurant is highly recommended!!

Fantastic place. Great smørrebrød for DKK 85. per piece Insanely cheap and high quality. Beautiful premises and a really sweet hostess.

A very typical ambiance in this Danish restaurant. We have loved the atmosphere very warm and welcoming. Food was great and the service too. Only disappointment : the choice of wines by the glass is limited to the house wines and the red is really nothing great. I would still highly recommend this place for dinner.
