We held my father's memorial service at Kongekilden. All in all a very positive experience! Good communication regarding planning, delicious food, beautiful surroundings and friendly and professional staff. Thank you :-)

We held our wedding on 22/08-2026 at Kongekilden, and everything was perfect. We had constant contact with Sophie up until the wedding, both physically there and by phone and email, to plan everything. We felt completely at ease when we spoke to Sophie, and you can just feel that everything is working at Kongekilden. They have fair prices and good rules for what snacks and decorations we were allowed to bring with us – a big plus! We held our wedding for 70 people in the main building with its terrace. We had plenty of space for our reception outside under the large parasol, dinner inside and later for our DJ, who got the dance floor going. The food tasted really good and looked really nice at the same time. We had tuna tartare, beef fillet and panna cotta. The wines were also really good and were praised by our guests. The staff were also really nice and good at coordinating the day with our toastmaster, so that everything went as it should. All in all, a fantastic experience to have our wedding here. We couldn't have imagined anything better!

We were at a wedding here recently and I would say the place is very cozy, but well worn out and needs a loving hand and maybe some gardening 🙏🤗 The food tastes good enough, but it would have tasted even better if it was hot when you got it. The portions are also somewhat smaller than we are used to here in the countryside. The staff was super nice and helpful. The parking facilities are really poor out there, so come well in advance before your visit.

We had our wedding at Kongekilden on August 1, 2026, and everything was simply perfect and magical! There is no doubt for a second that the team has everything under control. The food, the beautiful surroundings, the service and the whole atmosphere have subsequently been praised to the skies by our guests. As a bride and groom, it means everything to be able to let go of your worries, sit back and just enjoy the day. We can highly recommend Kongekilden to anyone who is having a special celebration. Thank you so much for making our big day unforgettable!

Fantastic to have a wedding at Kongekilden. We held our reception, dinner and party at Kongekilden from 16-03. Everything worked out, Sophie was great to coordinate with and we had the whole place to ourselves. It was good service on the evening and absolutely stunning beautiful surroundings. Their new orangery was so beautiful and made the experience even better. 5 stars from here. Fantastic day we will remember forever.

5 out of 5 stars! We had the absolute best wedding at Kongekilden. The food was fantastic, the surroundings were fabulous, and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout. Leading up to the day itself, we had a fantastic dialogue with Sophie, who helped us get even the smallest details and wishes in place. She was always quick to respond and ready to make our dreams come true. On the day itself, the staff really impressed: Just half an hour before the appetizer, they coordinated and served two vegetarian dishes that were not originally planned – without any problems at all. And when we suddenly ran out of batteries for a camera late in the evening, the sweet staff stepped in once again and fixed it with a smile. We can highly recommend Kongekilden to anyone who is holding an event. Thank you so much for making our day unforgettable!

However, time and again, I found myself leaving other spots with a slight sense of something missing—be it the structural integrity of the crust, the quality of the condiments, or the all-important balance of texture. Da Basso, however, is the real deal—a true destination for the buongustai (discerning palates) among us. I recently brought a group of Danish colleagues here; they arrived with the typical skepticism of those who think they’ve tried it all, but after just one bite, they pledged their undying loyalty. That is the power of pizza that speaks its own delicious language. The base achieves that elusive alchemy: thin enough to be crisp and structurally sound, yet pliable and light. The cornicione (the crust) is a study in contrast—airy and cloud-like within, blistered and wonderfully crunchy on the exterior, bearing the hallmark of a masterfully hot oven. The toppings are applied with an abundantly generous hand, ensuring that from the first bite to the last, every mouthful is a complete, harmonious experience. It is a pizza that demands to be eaten in person, fresh from the source, to be truly understood. Simply put, perfection 🥰

The bowls are definitely the highlight and are worth trying if you’re nearby Atmosphere: The interior has a very fancy, kitchen-like design, which fits the concept and gives the place a unique look Food: The food variations are really good! Everything is freshly prepared and served in a cute bowl, depending on what you order. The portions are also very generous, and you’ll probably struggle to finish a bowl in one sitting Service: The service is pretty standard, but compared with the food and interior, it feels like the weakest part of the experience. The service could definitely improve and catch up with the rest of what the restaurant offers Cleanliness: The cleanliness is superb! Everything is very clean and well-maintained, and the staff use gloves when preparing and mixing the food. Applause for that! Price: It’s pretty expensive for what you’re getting, but once you actually eat the food and see how much you get, it feels much more reasonable. I’ve been here multiple times because of the food, variety, and generous portions. Highly recommend! Feedback to the Restaurant: One thing I would definitely recommend improving is the menu. It feels a very messy and isn’t always very clear, so I’d suggest making it easier to understand and navigate. Adding some photos could also help customers get a better idea of what they’re ordering. It’s worth reading the menu carefully before ordering so you know exactly what you’re getting
