Restaurant Kongekilden Lyngby-Taarbæk

We were at a wedding here recently and I would say the place is very cozy, but well worn out and needs a loving hand and maybe some gardening 🙏🤗 The food tastes good enough, but it would have tasted even better if it was hot when you got it. The portions are also somewhat smaller than we are used to here in the countryside. The staff was super nice and helpful. The parking facilities are really poor out there, so come well in advance before your visit.

We had our wedding at Kongekilden on August 1, 2026, and everything was simply perfect and magical! There is no doubt for a second that the team has everything under control. The food, the beautiful surroundings, the service and the whole atmosphere have subsequently been praised to the skies by our guests. As a bride and groom, it means everything to be able to let go of your worries, sit back and just enjoy the day. We can highly recommend Kongekilden to anyone who is having a special celebration. Thank you so much for making our big day unforgettable!

Fantastic to have a wedding at Kongekilden. We held our reception, dinner and party at Kongekilden from 16-03. Everything worked out, Sophie was great to coordinate with and we had the whole place to ourselves. It was good service on the evening and absolutely stunning beautiful surroundings. Their new orangery was so beautiful and made the experience even better. 5 stars from here. Fantastic day we will remember forever.

5 out of 5 stars! We had the absolute best wedding at Kongekilden. The food was fantastic, the surroundings were fabulous, and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout. Leading up to the day itself, we had a fantastic dialogue with Sophie, who helped us get even the smallest details and wishes in place. She was always quick to respond and ready to make our dreams come true. On the day itself, the staff really impressed: Just half an hour before the appetizer, they coordinated and served two vegetarian dishes that were not originally planned – without any problems at all. And when we suddenly ran out of batteries for a camera late in the evening, the sweet staff stepped in once again and fixed it with a smile. We can highly recommend Kongekilden to anyone who is holding an event. Thank you so much for making our day unforgettable!

Was here for a consert with Lisa Nilsson with a 3- menu course. Totally fantastic. Would do it again!!
