Good Danish smørrebrød, which is not quite in the luxury category. We ate, among other things smoked eel, herring, rib roast and Parisian steak. The waiters were very nice, spread a good mood and gave tasting samples of schnapps. The prices are as they usually are for smørrebrød in Copenhagen K, but you can get very full from two pieces. If you want to eat smørrebrød in the evening, Restaurant Kronborg is one of the few options. Can definitely be recommended, even if there were small oversights on a busy evening. The Christmas herring is good, but not that different from traditional marinated herring. My mother's rib roast was a little undercooked, but the homemade red cabbage was good. It surprised me that you got the upper part (topping) served as a whole dish on a plate, but had to put it on the bread yourself. This also applied to the two people I was with who did not eat gluten-free. After getting the herring and eggs, I had to wait over 10 minutes for another round of gluten-free bread. It wasn't so lucky as herring doesn't taste that good without bread and I was hungry. You get butter, bread and homemade fat ad libitum. My sirloin steak was completely raw inside. The waiters were nice, so they would probably have offered to give it a few extra minutes if I had complained. However, I chose not to say anything as they were busy. And I also like tartar. There are many tables squeezed into a small space. If you want good space and not too much noise, you should visit the place at a less busy time. I tasted three of the homemade schnapps, which, however, were generally a bit thin in taste.

Good smorrebrod, I opted for the toast with herring/potato/spicy mayo The whole thing blends perfectly in the mouth Rather expensive but I have the impression that this is the case for all Danish restaurants

Here used to like this place very much. But it has fallen a bit unfortunately, not everything was as good as I could. I could remember and it took quite a long time with the 2nd serving...I feel I am a bit strict here now but have been very satisfied in the past. The plaice was not cooked enough and the ribs could have been more crispy and fresh

Excellent typical Danish restaurant. Warm and familiar atmosphere, tasty food. Taste the herring and Danish meatballs accompanied by typical black bread. Honest price, very friendly staff

Conseillé par le Routard, Arrivées sans réservation vers 20h30, accueil chaleureux. On nous informe que la cuisine ferme à 21h et donc de faire notre choix rapidement. Nous souhaitons commander uniquement un plat. Ici ne sont servis que des smorrebrods. Ceux choisis sont copieux et délicieux. Service très agréable. Jolie salle en sous-sol à l’ancienne.

Went here for lunch after a day of shopping downtown (only a couple blocks over from Stroget). The restaurant is very charming, service was friendly and quick. Great selection of smorrebrod. This ended up being the best smorrebrod we had the entire trip. Definitely worth checking out! Meals are served on Royal Copenhagen dishes so you really feel like you are getting the Danish experience here.
