Classic restaurant, with typical food, super friendly and good service, I can't ask for more. This is what we asked for: - Herring platter: a combination of herring in various preparations: cured, pickled in mustard and fried. If you have never tried herring, it is a good idea to try it in several ways, they were all quite delicious. They bring it to you with bread and butter in case you want to make a smorrebrod, which is also very classic. - Pork tenderloin: with creamed mushrooms and pickles, it is still a grilled tenderloin, it is delicious but not wonderful. - Roast pork: as if it were a pork shoulder roasted in the oven, with crispy skin and a very juicy interior, it was delicious, but not a wonderful dish either. - Traditional Danish meatballs: the most curious flavor and least associated with a meatball that I have, very delicious, but the same as the other dishes, good but not wonderful, and not because of the restaurant, but because of the gastronomy they have there. - Cod roe smorrebrod with shrimp: it was recommended to us by the super friendly waiter, and the truth is that it was quite good, I would order it.

Excellent Danish lunch in a very traditional setting. Excellent service! Love the atmosphere. Reservation required. Quite pricey.

Perfect experience! Fast service, delicious smorrebrod (special mention for the “roasted pork”), very friendly waiters, reasonable prices. Please note: water served in a carafe is not free (unusual for the French)...! I advise you to book before coming because it is very popular, including among the locals.

Typical Danish restaurant, good food but very disappointing service. We are not familiar with the culture and gastronomy here, so we decided to order an extra dish to share to try more things, to which we were rudely told “no, these are not tapas” “this is a restaurant” despite trying to order a second dish each, as if we had never eaten in a restaurant before. We would have appreciated an explanation that it is not common here to order to share, which we would have understood perfectly and we would not have had any problems. The truth is that it made the rest of the meal a little bitter for us.

The atmosphere is super good, the waiters are incredibly sweet and aware of their product can warmly recommend this place.!!!!

Restaurant that serve traditional Danish open sandwiches. Price is affordable. Staff are friendly enough and gave sufficient explanations about the food and drinks served at the restaurant. It's below ground level with a small flight of stairs with no elevator so could be challenging for disable people.

Lovely food, service and atmosphere

Tuvimos un almuerzo maravilloso en este encantador restaurante tradicional. Nos dieron una cálida bienvenida a la llegada y el servicio en todo fue amable con nuestro camarero feliz de pasar tiempo hablando con nosotros a través de la tradición de smorrebrod, respondiendo a nuestras preguntas y ayudándonos con recomendaciones. Escogimos 2 platos cada uno - antiguo - arenque en escabeche, tostadas Skagen (gambas) , ensalada de patatas con tocino y albóndigas danesas. Las porciones son generosas y el pan de centeno es absolutamente delicioso - si no hubiéramos seguido comiendo el pan extra en la cesta podríamos haber tenido espacio para el postre! El restaurante estaba muy bien decorado para Navidad y estaba muy ocupado, así que sin duda una buena idea para reservar. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente y volveremos a visitarlo si volvemos a Copenhague.

Sándwiches tradicionales daneses de cara abierta, con una amplia gama de opciones frías y cálidas. Pedimos 2 de cada uno: Arenque con cebolla y alcaparras Salmón ahumado Gravlax (un tipo de pez) con Camarones Albóndigas danesas Excepto el Salmón Ahumado que venía con pan blanco, el resto venía con el tradicional centeno servido al costado. El pan de centeno es pesado y no es algo que me gustaría comer solo, pero de alguna manera va perfectamente con los platos. No tuve una buena experiencia con el arenque crudo en Amsterdam anteriormente y dudé en intentarlo, pero tengo que decir que esta versión ahumada es mucho mejor. De los 4 que más me gustó el Gravlax. Primero está caliente, luego no tan salado, y la combinación de pescado y camarón era perfecta.   También probé sus Schnapps, al contrario que los Killepitsch, esto se toma junto a la comida pero siendo el pésimo bebedor, creo que la combinación de un 40% Schnapps y un 5% Royal Xmas Carlsberg (una versión especial de sus Pilsner durante el invierno) algo así me llegó. A pesar de que era solo un trago, el camarero hizo un punto para llenarlo hasta el borde, además probé otros 2 antes de este final, así que es casi 1. 5 tragos de Schnapps. Para los postres, tuvimos el Pudín de Arroz, que es un postre especial de Navidad que la mayoría de las familias hacen para las celebraciones navideñas. Dulce y frío, está hecho de arroz hervido a una textura gooey, cubierto con platas de almendras y salsa de cereza picante servida a un lado. Los lugareños lo tienen con vino de Oporto, así que tuvimos una pequeña mini copa de él también, para la experiencia, pero solo pude manejar 3 sorbos. Un final dulce para una comida pesada, para cuando terminamos, eran casi las 5 pm y no hace falta decir que no tenía espacio para cenar.
