This has got to be a top restaurant in Copenhagen as it was one the best meals ever. All items are traditional Danish. The quality of the product was very good. The flavors were excellent, the service was premium. It was expensive. We spent about $85 a person, but that included appetizers, main, meal, wine, beer, dessert and good tip. It was worth every Krone.

Absolutely satisfying experience. We were able to get a table for 4 persons without reservation. All the staff in service were charming, have a good sense in Humor and are clearly loving their jobs, which you can tell by the way they interact with their customers. The Smørebrød was outstanding! Everything we ordered was just great! I highly recommend everyone to come over and visit this wonderful restaurant.

Always nice food and good service

Danish cuisine restaurant. The salmon and cheese toasties were excellent. Good draft beer and small chnapps. Be careful to book in advance as it is often full. Copenhagen Prices 😉

This was an experience. Had wanted to try a ‘lunch’ restaurant while in Copenhagen and having seen the excellent reviews chose this one. Interestingly - using the booking form in Danish seems easier in terms of booking - so that’s what we did. When we arrived we were given a table right next to the door… I think this was the ‘English’/non Danish corner, but saying that I can’t begrudge them because my friends and I had a lovely time. The female server was dry and enjoyed making fun of our ignorance - but in a charming way. She also gave some very good advice about our options - both in terms of the food and the aquavit. Indeed, at one point she brought out a number of different aquavits and talked about which ones might go better with certain foods. This was a nice touch. In terms of the food - each of the open sandwiches were delicious and also surprisingly very filling. The restaurant caters for both more adventurous and less adventurous diners; that is, you’re not expected to have herring or other kinds of fish if you’re not inclined. But everything that my friends and I had certainly had the thumbs up - and this also included some excellent prawn and herring open sandwiches. Would I return? Yes without a doubt if I was in Copenhagen. This place brought a smile to our faces.

Vi var 4 personer som hadde julemat med mange serveringer. Særlig silden var exelent, men alt smakte meget godt. Med 15 snaps, 6 øl og 3 avec kom regningen på 4300 Danske kroner. Litt lang ventetid mellom noen av rettene. Gos trivelige kelnere.
