My wife and I had two dinners at Krydderiet. Both were marvelous! Elegant, beautifully prepared, wonderful tastes, delicious meals. A 'hidden gem' as some other reviews have noted.
The restaurant is the "hotel" restaurant for Hotel Hillerød: our experience in the past has been that hotel restaurants aren't always in the top tier for delicious tastes and well prepared dishes -- Krydderiet hit it out of the park on both counts.
The decor/setting of the restaurant was understated, but beautiful.
Strongly recommend.

We live in France, and have eaten some wonderful meals in our time. However, the meal we had at Restaurant krydderiet was the best of my life. The main course was mushroom ravioli. I wasn't hungry, and don't particularly care for either mushrooms or ravioli. But the preparation was so far beyond anything I could have imagined - calling this "mushroom ravioli" would be like calling a Beethoven symphony a "tune".
On top of this, the chef was very pleasant on a personal level. There were some new, inexperienced servers, and he was kind and patient with them, and came out himself to help us plan the meal.
The next time we're in Denmark we'll be making a special trip to have a meal here again.

Had dinner here while on vacation. Food was execellent with wonderful presentation. Chef offered to make adjustments. Entire staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Would very much recommend, even if you're not staying at the hotel.

We had a delicious diner. The flavor combinations were tremendous tasty.
We thoroughly enjoyed the starter, the main meal and the dessert. It was all excellent

A Hidden Gem!
My forth annual visit, and he has never failed to deliver.
We have eaten in what is described by some, as the best restaurants in the world, however here....
Excellent - sometimes delicate flavour combinations, sometimes strong - always fab.
A perfect lesson in chief knows best 😁
Local produce used.
If you live Denmark you are missing something!!
Special events regularly.
If you are a traveller, stay here just for the food!, hotel is perfectly serviceable as well.
Always accommodating, but do try to book as they are busy.

Nice place in the basement, good kitchen and good ambitions. In everyday life, where most and few guests are single people, the place becomes a little too open and nice. You could do a little in the interior to accommodate this. We sat 4 people in each of our corners while its one young waiter was trying to think of something to do.
