We were here for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised by the great food!

Restaurant L’Alsace feels like stepping into a corner of northeastern France, tucked away in one of Copenhagen’s most charming courtyards. The atmosphere is warm and full of character, the service attentive, and the wine list beautifully curated. We had the tasting menu and thoroughly enjoyed the journey through classic Alsatian flavours — each dish prepared with care and authenticity. A true gem for anyone who appreciates French gastronomy.

I had such a wonderful experience here. The food was excellent – flavorful, well-balanced, and beautifully prepared. What really stood out was how the staff helped select the perfect wine to go with the meal. Their recommendation elevated the whole dining experience and showed real knowledge and care. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere inviting in a way that made me want to stay longer. Altogether, it was an evening where everything just clicked – an easy five stars in every way

Really great food. Very friendly service. In the end, cashless payment was canceled in Copenhagen. We were able to pay later by invoice and bank transfer without any problems. It's great that they have so much trust in their customers. 👍

Best restaurant I have been to in Copenhagen so far. Service is amazing, ambiance is so calming and lovely, food is incredible. Highly highly recommended. Well worth the price. Update: was my first meal in Copenhagen and my last for the semester. A great place.

Excellent French restaurant, friendly setting, two waiters were French, the pan-fried foie gras was cooked to perfection, however the “medium rare” rib-eye steak was medium rare, like in Denmark, but very good. The chef’s terrine was foie gras, excellent!

Lorsque nous voyageons, nous aimons nous imprégner de la culture du pays et goûter aux mets du pays. Cependant, notre guide francophone nous avait conseillé ce restaurant alsacien d’excellente qualité. Les produits sont frais et cuisinés à la perfection. Et notre serveur, Dorian, franco-danois, bien élevé et très professionnel, nous a rendu le dîner exceptionnel ! Nous recommandons ce restaurant les yeux fermés… mais pas les papilles !

We choose 2 course menu — oyster & fish. Oyster is ok but not much taste at all and they only give lemon and not other sauces Main course — fish is great ! If can be a bit more warm would be wonderful Service is great and staffs are cheerful. We order champagne and one of the glass is pretty dirty with dead flyer, staff change for us immediately. Appreciate very much m Champagne is a bit too expensive 😅 otherwise all good ! Recommended
