Good food, nice environment, excellent service, kid friendly.

We went out to eat with our children aged 1, 11 and 15 The staff were fantastic. Even though our youngest chose to walk all over the place, they were all nice and would talk to her when she wanted to talk to them The food was also good So if you want to go out and eat somewhere nice but still have little ones with you. So this is a place we can recommend

The service was excellent, very welcoming and friendly. The disappointment came from the food. Apart from the wagyu, which was very good, I didn’t feel the other dishes justified the price. They lacked flavor and felt quite ordinary, without anything particularly memorable. The ravioli were undercooked. I do enjoy my pasta al dente, but these were clearly not cooked enough and I was surprised they were served this way. The chef should have tasted one before sending the dish out. The risotto was also too strong in white wine, which overpowered the other flavors. Overall, the service was great, but the food did not meet the expectations set by the pricing.

It could just be me, but I was honestly quite underwhelmed by the experience. I opted for the 750 DKK tasting menu, and the first course of oysters and sashimi felt fairly ordinary and didn’t leave much of an impression. I was also surprised by the presentation, which felt rather lacklustre given the expectations. The waiting time between courses was quite long, which made the meal feel drawn out. While the staff were kind, friendly, and attentive throughout, I ultimately felt that the food itself didn’t quite live up to the hype or the price point.

The food was good as well, having tried their Omakase Deluxe we trusted the chef to give us the best he could offer. Again, it was not that it wasn’t great but it was still far from amazing. What worked was the paring of ingredients, Levi hits bullseye when it comes to the fusion of Italian and Japanese ingredients in a Danish setting, well done! What I did miss was variance, a lot of the ingredients, particularly for the first 4-5 dishes the complimentary ingredients were used over and over in an (to me) almost excessive manner, or least that was the experience. Their signature cocktails were at least spot on, and for the price you expected it. Umami tasted like spring, it was, as the name suggests, very subtle and tasted like umami. It could definitely be a new go to that I will have to attempt to recreate if Levi is not available. Another well done cocktail was their whisky sour which were delivered with a balance between bitterness and sour that did not disappoint. Regarding the atmosphere it is worth noting that while the 20:30 table gives you the opportunity to stay all evening it is together with the party goers off Copenhagen. It was unexpected how much of the experience were unfortunately disturbed by this. This is a personal preference and a mistake on my end but I believe it should be a fair warning to those who expected a more relaxed setting. The setting during and close to midnight was that of a nightclub. Particularly the toilets got more and more crowded, dirty with paper towels thrown around, multiple people in one stalls and dirty toilets where you couldn’t sit but had to either stand as a man or squat over the toilet as a woman. The toilet were also showing tear at the doors, and so this part of the restaurant damages my view of it as a whole. Hygiene is important and I trust the kitchen performed proper food safety but as a guest I value a clean toilet and while that might be trivial it removes focus from the experience of the food and instead makes room for worries.

We went to Levi with high expectations because of its fusion cuisine, and we enjoy trying local restaurants, but the experience left us feeling like we'd paid a fortune for very little. The dishes are well-prepared and visually appealing, but the portions are ridiculously small for the price. We left with the impression that the quality-to-price ratio is a complete rip-off. Furthermore, they charge 48 Danish kroner for filtered water, and even without asking, they keep refilling your glass only to charge you for it later. We didn't appreciate that. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is adequate. But honestly, spending nearly €90 per person (four dishes to share: rice crackers with prawn tartare, a steak tartare tartlet, two goyzas, a risotto, and two glasses of wine, without dessert) isn't worth it.

Very good food and service. I just didn’t like the lamb so much, but the rest of the omakase was amazing.

Dinner at Restaurant Levi felt rather like being invited into the Copenhagen townhouse of an unusually stylish count who had spent a formative decade wandering between Kyoto, Milan and an exceptionally well funded art fair. Great pinewood pillars rose theatrically through the room. Gleaming Koons like curiosities peered at one from corners with the confidence of objects costing vastly more than they should. The staff floated about with such alarming poise that one suspected they were all secretly heirs to shipping fortunes. The shrimp starter was magnificent. The linguine possessed the quiet confidence of an old Etonian who rows beautifully and never checks prices on wine lists. And then the pistachio dessert arrived and settled the matter entirely. One took a bite and immediately understood why civilizations have occasionally collapsed into decadence.
