Restaurant Lola København

Large disappointment. The staff is rather frivolous and doesn't seem to be particularly interested in providing high-quality and fast service. Dishes are nice but nothing special compared to the prices. Very nicely located, yet you can find plenty of restos in the same price range with much better cuisine, thus can't really recommend Lola.

Beautifully-presented and delicious smørrebrød (open-faced sandwiches on rye bread with butter) with curried pickled herring as well as another with fried herring. Super cozy but fancy atmosphere, quiet, in a gorgeous spot along the canal next to Christiania. Overall, great experience

I have been to Lola and dine a few times over the past few years and the experience has always been good but never perfect. The service has been pleasant, professional and relaxed, with an edge of personality that makes it homely. In a good way. And now the food has finally reached the same level. We were there the other day and had mackerel, tostados, seafood bisque, chicken wings and pig. Tostado was by far the most surprising, refreshing and tasty dish I've ever had. It is unfair to call it a tostado compared to what you get served on the Copenhagen food scene today. Perfectly "prepared" cod, with aji amarillo, fried plantains and pickled jalapenos. Every single bite was a bite of the spiciest part of heaven, where it is right on the edge of being too violent, but you surrender to the overwhelming feeling of deliciousness and spice. And that's what I'm looking for. When you've eaten as much food as I have, you look for surprises and experiences that take your pants off, and this one does just that. The fact that the rest of the dishes then continue to build up, and "one up" each other, like a Michelin-building symphony, where in the end you just surrender to the experiences, is a shame to do at the price they charge for Lola. It has been a long time since I have had such a tasty gastronomic experience as I had the other day, you can tell that there has been a change in the kitchen and this has given renewed energy and professional precision to the dishes. I can only recommend going to the top of Christianshavn and letting yourself be embraced by the smiling, charming staff, the beautiful rooms, the green nature and dishes that feel like they were prepared by a South American grandmother who wants to provoke. Wow. And Bravo. 6 stars. And see you soon, Lola.

Good atmosphere, beautiful premises. The food was a bit too ruskomsnusk-like, I think, and a few of the dishes too fussy to share easily. For the main course (which, as the only one, was portioned), one of us got a lot of meat and the other almost nothing. Therefore, it ended up as an overall smooth experience

Beautiful food with good ingredients and intense flavors. The service was also very attentive and nice.

Jeg er enig i de fleste anmeldelser ang. Lola. Smuk fint sted på Chr.havn med super fin udsigt til Vor Frelser Kirke. Alle retter var overdøvet med koriander, jeg nogle af os ikke kan udstå. Vi købte en servering, mener det var 7 retter, alligevel sagde de til os vi skulle købe snacks, som vi gjorde, og blev stadig ikke mætte. Jeg vil ikke anbefale Lola som et godt spisested, men et sted man får sig noget at drikke og nyde den smukke udsigt.

Super sweet waiter and great location 😀 Unfortunately, not so positive about that. The flavors are not coordinated, either they lacked salt, or it was too sour - fe most dishes were just weird. Not a single dish was sitting in the cupboard. A little too "searched" and "try hard". We got a 5-course meal with meat - as well as snacks, which unfortunately were also weird. Eh - we've been there before for lunch, where they had nice smørrebrød. "Less is more" could profitably be cultivated here.

Went for lunch in the 'garden'. The service and the garden was an excellent setting for a nice and relaxing lunch. Many of the open sandwiches are priced similar to some of the top places in town, and Lola cannot match the high standards of those places. We found it a bit confusing that some servings had international influences and some not. The vaudovan-heering had a good texture but the spice was difficult to taste. The unagi-mackerel was top notch.

We were here for the five course dinner for date night. The location is amazing, well hidden near the lakes. Food was a modern danish/indian/mexican fusion with great focus on vegetables. In terms of drinks, there’s a lot of good alcohol options as well as nonalcoholic alternatives such as kombucha.
