Restaurant Mallemukken Lemvig

A very cozy and very special feeling to sit under the bottom of a cutter and watch the frames because the deck has been removed so that the cutter forms a roof over the "restaurant"! The dining card includes both fish dishes and steaks. The chosen "star shot" was well prepared with pan-fried flatfish, served with a cold draft beer that completes the experience!

Definitely worth a visit, impressive atmosphere eating under an upside down cutter.

Unique atmosphere, rustic, authentic original frame created by sitting in the inverted cutter, under the impressive piece of shipbuilder's craftsmanship in solid oak timber. Absolutely special. The food, today wienerschnitzel with a beer. A "man's dish", well prepared and tasty. Mallemukken - what not to like??😊👍🏻

Very nice atmosphere. The upturned old cutters make it very comfortable as a roof replacement. The food is very good, the taste is good and the portion size is right.

We need to eat in places where they offer glutenfree food, as our daughter suffers from celiac disease. Stuff was very nice, understanding and helpful. They know about celiac disease and the risk of contamination. Food was very good and we felt safe. They have a dedicated fryer and a separate oven to heat glutenfree bread. Our daughter ate the burger and really loved it. All the other food we had, was very good to. We liked the atmosphere in the "upside-down" boats. It is something special. It was not very crowded when we were there as it was not high-season anymore. We´ll definitely come back the next time we´re in Thyboron.

Great place, great food, i wa there a couple of year ago and i ve rembered how special was to needed to review. I had great lunch many times at this place, under the amazin upside-down boat hull. Good quality at really reasonable price.
