Restaurant Malt Køge

This was out first smørrebrød experience, and we're now big fans. There were loads of different options, we chose three and were very pleased. The menu recommended 2 dishes per person but we shared 3 between the two of us and we were stuffed. The service was kind and quick, and the atmosphere was bright and airy. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Also, for hot chocolate lovers: they have one of the best ones I've ever tasted.

Well-cooked and delicious, nicely presented

It's such a cozy place - the food is really delicious and beautifully prepared. Super service - nice toilet - with nice soap, alcohol and hand cream. Nice you can sit both inside and outside.

Delicious sandwiches and nice Service

Really cozy place both inside and out. We ordered some open sandwiches and within 10 minutes we had both drinks and the most delicious pieces of open sandwiches. For us for a normal lunch, 1 piece is enough, but if you are hungry you can probably eat two pieces or maybe cheese or a cake. Stir-fried tartare tastes fantastic, looks like a million. Chicken salad the same and the only small complaint is the large pieces of bacon on top, which makes this open sandwiches difficult to eat nicely and here maybe you can think differently :-)

Cozy restaurant with delicious food and local ingredients

Fantastic service and food. Ordered 3-course blackboard menu, which consisted of: Starter: Steamed white asparagus - shrimp - malt crumble - hollandaise sauce - herbs Main course: Braised veal breast - sauteed green asparagus, carrot, pearl onion - coarse potato puree - horseradish sauce - thyme Dessert: Cold rhubarb comsommé - pickled rhubarb - white chocolate ice cream - sour clover Highly recommended 😁👍
