Restaurant Mårup Havn Samsø

Was there yesterday and it was great weather and lovely service and friendly staff - I come here every 10 years - see you again soon. Plaice and new potatoes

My plaice was alright, but the four potatoes on it were very meager. My parents' salmon fillet was bone dry, and my father didn't finish his. I don't know if it's normal here to have to order and pay at the counter. It's certainly not like that anywhere else.

Cozy and really good food. Top notch.

A simple, no-frills, yet welcoming place located on the edge of the small harbor. Friendly service, excellent, carefully prepared food. A place to definitely return. Tip: I suggest a wider selection of non-alcoholic beers, especially Danish craft beers.

We visited this restaurant on a stormy evening, and apart from us, there was only one other couple there. We received a friendly welcome and were even allowed to park our car in a secure area near the entrance. The menu is straightforward, and the view of the nearby sea is priceless. We opted for plaice and fish cakes (2). The wait was a bit long, due to the fact that everything was freshly prepared. We were very satisfied and would gladly return!

Cozy restaurant, where we sat outside and ate. Had asked in advance if we could bring our dog…. “Of course” was the answer. We had pan-fried plaice with small potatoes and parsley sauce. Really delicious. It is highly recommended to eat there and then you support the locals. Waiters speak English … but many in the Danish restaurant industry do. “Live with it” as Mette F says. Nice that there is a good restaurant at the harbor in Mårup, Samsø.

We regularly visit Samsø, and for us, the Marup Harbor Restaurant is one of the best restaurants on the island. It offers excellent value for money. Down-to-earth, no-nonsense cuisine. Great location.
