Restaurant Niels Juel Thisted

It's one of the best fish restaurants in the area. The fish buffet, in particular, is sensational, even if it has declined somewhat in recent years.

Went in to order their sirloin steak which is what they have in addition to their fish buffet. I'm not one who usually chooses fish as either the 1st or 2nd choice. Checked out the buffet and decided to try it anyway. Made it through all the dishes and must say that it really put my fear of fish to shame. I would like to highlight the crayfish salad and the cold smoked salmon as being in a class of their own. Absolute recommendation from here and not the last time I visit Niels Juel

Definitely the best restaurant in town. The buffet is exceptionally good. I've rarely had such a delicious meal.

If you like fish, this is the place to go! An excellent buffet with various fish and seafood dishes, along with delicious side dishes. The prices are reasonable. We'd love to go back next time we're in the area.
