Restaurant Nögen Aarhus

We were a group of 6 who took a trip from Zealand to Aarhus to visit the restaurant. 2 had experienced the restaurant in Vejle and wanted to share the experience with the rest of us. Here, there is no finger to be put on the host; the laid-back professionalism, interest in the product and great joy in sharing the story: The menu is based on surplus goods. 2 pallets at a time, we were told. Mostly vegetables, and then it is diluted with fish, a little meat and a proper dose of creativity and love for the season, preparation and kitchen technical characteristics. Truly delicious 10 dishes divided into 4 servings. The cocktail menu was invented at home and sits right in the cupboard, incredibly enough for each serving, which consists of 3 separate dishes with a bang on the flavors. Well done!!! Even more incredibly, the wine menu followed skillfully. Each of the 4 wines could not have been chosen better. Competent, professional and value for money all the way around. We look forward to visiting you at Nørreport.

Very delicious and unique experience

Delicious meals served at a suitable pace. Two hours at the table with "half-naked".

What a lunch and a wait staff that made the experience complete. The food (lunch) tasted fantastic and we experienced service and warmth that was completely up to par. Will definitely come again.

Loved the food and the service was amazing. There is no ala carte menu, just 10 course shared one. It is full of surprising flavours (my favourite was chipotle sorbet on beef tartare) and fairly priced.

Fantastically delicious food and really good service. They were so good at taking food allergies into account, and the food was super tasty. Good service and very friendly staff. I will definitely be back

Our first encounter with this concept of Nögen was nothing short of amazing. From the very beginning we were warmly welcomed by a pleasant and knowledgeable waiter, Simon. It was incredibly exciting to wait for the dishes and we were pleasantly surprised by the flavors and combinations each time we were served. Very comfortable to just come without thinking about what to order. All in all very happy with our evening at this great place. Worth every penny and will be highly recommended to friends and family until we return ourselves.

Nögen has a gorgeous concept of combating food waste, and does so by offering a tasting menu that changes every week. We had the 10 dish meal and we couldn't finish it all, we were THAT full. Some of the dishes were great and some less, but it was all generally nice. Our waiter was up-beat and really sweet, which was fun. The restaurant was very busy and the decor didn't really fit the quality of the food or the vibe they seem to be going for. Overall - had a very nice experience for a very reasonable price.

EXTREMELY nice and friendly service, nice wine, nice food, great concept. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

We ordered a full Nögen and it was a fantastic experience. They took really good care of us and gave us a really nice experience with many exciting tastes and smells.
