Place that brings the boring concept of Social Dinning to a new place. Here there was enough food for everyone.

A somewhat mixed experience. I will mention some food that did not live up to expectations: Cucumber with smoked cheese and salmon roe on it (there was nothing else but that), pork was way too fatty (we are happy with fatty pork normally). Good food: dark tough!! 10/10 stars! The tomato soup was also good. Service minded and friendly staff. Unfortunately, 45-50 minutes passed between the starter and the main course, therefore not 5 stars for service. Atmosphere somewhat off. Way too much light until they realized it at 21:30 and dimmed it :) Room for improvement but for the price ok

Amazing restaurant concept focused on combating food waste, which means every visit to Nögen offers a new dining experience— this can be both a positive or a negative, depending on your preferences. Not every dish was on the same level during our visit, but overall, it was excellent. Big congratulations to the chefs; it can’t be easy to be so creative every day! The service was also impeccable. My only point for improvement would be the atmosphere, but that may be because we ended up with a less ideal table near the entrance. Some other seatings looked a lot more cozy.

We dined at Nögen on May 4, 2024, attracted by the excellent online reviews and by the very concept of the restaurant: an anti-waste address that works only with surplus food, thus offering a unique menu that is renewed almost daily. A great initiative for an excellent restaurant! If the approach is innovative and committed, this in no way sacrifices the deliciousness on the plate and local products are intelligently enhanced. At Nögen, there is no fixed menu: the dishes vary every day depending on availability, for a real culinary adventure. We chose the 10-course menu (portions to share), which turned out to be more than sufficient, perhaps even too generous! With an unbeatable quality/price ratio (around €50 per person), an ecological and virtuous approach, and friendly service to boot, what more could you ask for?"
