Restaurant Over Aaen Kolding

Super good service, from the sweet and smiling young woman who served us, for both a brunch and later an evening visit. The food was as expected from a good cafe, the setting quite cozy, but a little disturbing when the train comes running "over" the bridge above. All in all a good visit, and worth recommending. Possibility of time parking right nearby

We had ordered a beef pasta dish in cream sauce. Food was lukewarm and there was almost no cream sauce. It was a cozy place and the young man who served us was smiling and very chatty 😃 It's just the food that unfortunately didn't live up to expectations.

Sweet and welcoming staff. Really delicious buffet. Nothing was missing.

Limited selection, high prices for the quality, poor seating comfort and trains roaring past above the building every 10 minutes

Friendly staff Nice location. Nice to sit next to the stream. Blankets are available if it's a bit chilly. Food was quite good but a bit expensive.

Maybe I had too high expectations going to this restaurant as there was many good reviews and the location by the river felt like a perfect relaxed dinner stop on a sunny evening, but in my case, even if the service was friendly and polite, unfortunately the pasta dish with beef and mushrooms didn't win my heart as the penne pasta was totally overcooked and I barely found any mushrooms in the dish. Also I felt that there could be much more done about the interiors, patio furniture and cutlery to be more welcoming and lift the overall experience to another level to really feel the famous Danish "hygge".
