Quick stop for a beer and some sparkling water. Got a nice seat out in the courtyard where there was a nice atmosphere. Cozy place and good options for both food and drinks.

Great location in the city, but the restaurant itself did not impress in terms of atmosphere. The food was good and there was a delicious little salad bar.

There were four of us who had dinner at Pakhuset in Svaneke, and the overall impression was mixed. The pasta dishes were generally of a high standard – good flavours, good cooking and fine ingredients. However, the portions were on the small side, especially considering the price. What unfortunately brought the experience down considerably was the ribeye steak. It was vastly overpriced and did not live up to expectations at all. The meat was tough and taste-wise anonymous – no better than meat from an old dairy cow, to be honest. The sauce that was served with it was also very watery, with large pieces of onion that took over completely and ruined the taste rather than enhancing it. In summary: a place with potential, especially if you stick to the pasta dishes. But meat lovers would be wise to choose something else – the steak brings the rating down considerably.

Menukortet giver anledning til visse forventninger til en form for autenticitet i retterne, men vi blev skuffede, da både Cæsar-salaten 0g pasta a la carbonara var blevet fordanskede bl.a. med fløde i corbonara’en (her skulle jeg. Ok have været mere opmærksom på det lille mellemled ‘a la’, som åbenbart betyder at man bevæger sig langt væk fra originalen). Det var skuffende og fjernede helhedsindtrykket af venlig betjening og ok retter.

Young friendly staff. Sat outside in the evening, where the large awning was pulled back when the sun came out again. Not a small bite was left on the plate. Steak was delicious juicy and cooked as agreed. Lovely fresh salad bar and large non-alcoholic ale beer were enjoyed in 2024. ( 2025! Price difference and change in the dishes, and salad bar is now purchased separately). Have come here 2 x and eaten every year, but something must have happened since 2024.

Alt i alt en god oplevelse. Vi blev taget godt imod. Vi bestilte planke bøf og oksespidsbryst, begge dele smagte skønt og kødet var mørt. Salatbuffet var super god med stort udvalg. Super betjening. Vi kommer meget gerne igen.

We ate here two years ago. We came back again at the end of our trip. The food is absolutely recommended. There's a very unusual, large salad buffet and a great, manageable menu. Everything tastes delicious, and there's plenty of choice for children too. They're happy to accommodate any requests. The staff understands some German, but you can communicate well in English. We'll be back!

New concept with Steak & Pasta. Had to try it. We were served brisket with hasselback and greens. The meat was tender and delicious. Seaweed pasta with salmon, the salmon was juicy and had a nice little roast crust which made it really good. Hazelnut ice cream for dessert. Everything was really good and highly recommended.

07/08/2025: This restaurant, once known as Ella’s Konditori and famed for its traditional dishes like wienerschnitzel, has been completely reimagined. Thanks to the passion of four incredibly enthusiastic owners, Simon, Ludvig, Malthe, and Max, and the help of many talented friends, it has blossomed into one of the most exciting Italian restaurants I’ve experienced in Denmark. Today, the focus is purely on pasta, with three main courses to choose from. Don’t let the limited menu fool you, each dish is so well-crafted that even something you might usually pass over elsewhere becomes a revelation here. Every bite is a journey through layers of flavors, perfectly balanced and deeply satisfying. Portion sizes might seem modest at first glance, but the food is rich and hearty, especially if you opt for the menu including a starter and dessert. Everything is handmade, and I was lucky enough to peek into the kitchen and watch as each pasta screw was hand-rolled. They go to great lengths to source locally, sometimes even foraging for wild garlic near Hammersø in the spring. Reservations are highly recommended. We were fortunate to get a table as walk-ins, but saw several people turned away. This is a “please wait to be seated” restaurant, and the cozy atmosphere makes it worth the wait. The space retains the charm of its past, with beautiful old trees and a tranquil fish pond from the original Konditori. If you’re willing to swap “brun sovs og kartofler” for some of the finest pasta in the country, this spot is a must-visit. It’s a heartfelt, flavor-packed experience and I can’t recommend it enough. Bravo to Simon, Ludvig, Malthe, and Max for creating something truly special!

12/11/2025: good food at affordable prices, large portions. A little absent service, everything took a little long despite few guests. Nice view.
03/11/2025: Interesting, tasty fish dishes, some with seafood like seagrass, but unfortunately the portions are quite small, especially the ingredients – just two tiny stalks of everything, so you can barely taste them. Typical of Bornholm's high-priced restaurants, but still recommendable. For fish and chips, you're better off going to one of the good fish smokehouses.
