Cozy place with good food and good service

Traditional danish cuisine with a modern twist. Pricey but in the heart of Copenhagen. Friendly and great service. Very good food. We will return.

The food was delicious, nothing special, but delicious. The desserts were excellent. The service was decent.

Authentic and delicious Danish open sandwich.

Quite possibly the best smørrebrød I’ve ever had! We didn’t have a reservation and tried to get in on a Friday afternoon. Restaurant was packed and we waited for about 15 mins for a table that didn’t show up. Lucky us! Highly recommend the dishes here that we have tried. We liked it so much we wanted to order a 2nd portion of the tomato dish but unfortunately the kitchen was already closed. We enjoyed our time here so much we are planning to visit again, hopefully for dinner in the next week.

Lovely food, good service, excellent surroundings with beautiful and well-maintained premises. The level is ambitious, and it is of course excellent. Especially the ample staff who provide good and polite service. When the last star is still missing in my opinion, it is something with the correlation between price and quality. The average piece of open sandwiches here costs around 150 kr./piece and even though it tastes fantastic, it is just a little more than the experience can bear. Mostly because the quantity is too small. An adult man can easily eat 3-4 pieces, and then you end up with over 600 kr. plus drinks, for four pieces of open sandwiches. Or 530 for two pieces and a glass of wine. For the price, either a little more "wow effect" is missing, or the quantity is a little larger. You can safely go here in every way and have a good experience. The food is delicious and of super quality. But you have to be aware that the price is on the good side... and for some it might be a little too much on the good side. :-)

Refined and elegant restaurant in the city center, welcoming and warm environment. Excellent service, all the staff very professional, attentive and excellent presentation of the different dishes. Very valid menu and really good dishes both fish and meat as well as dessert. A special mention to the offer of wines very wide and of excellent quality.

La ubicación, el ambiente, el servicio y la comida - nunca decepcionante. Es un lugar muy conocido y concurrido, así que asegúrese de hacer una reserva si desea asegurar una mesa. Restaurant Palaegade er en stor og moderne restaurant. Omgivelserne er moderne og indretningen er enkelt og minimalistisk, hvilket skaber de perfekte rammer for en god og intim aften i byen. Atmosfære var god og restauranten summede af glade gæster. Der var et godt udvalg af lækre retter og maden var helt vidunderlig, og deres cocktails var to die for. Servicen var venlig, portionerne tilpas og serveringen forgik i et godt tempo.
