I loved the mussels. There were no closed shells like at other places where I got mussel pots. The fries were excellent and the oysters tasted like they came from out of the straight away. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm. The service was really nice and kind. I would recommend coming here if you like seafood.

The location of the restaurant and its water-front views are definitely a selling point, but dinner was just OK. The dishes in the set menu didn't really go together and they were all quite bland and average. A forgettable dining experience.

During our vacation in Denmark, my son and I had the pleasure of visiting the Remouladen restaurant in Vejle.
The restaurant is picturesquely located on the harbor, which leaves a lasting impression as soon as you enter. The modern Nordic architecture and tasteful, minimalist interior design perfectly reflect the elegant yet welcoming atmosphere that immediately captivated us.
The outdoor terrace has a wonderful view over the harbor.
The Remouladen restaurant impresses with its stylish yet relaxed atmosphere. The large window fronts offer a wonderful view of the harbor, which is a real pleasure, especially at sunset. The interior design is simple, but with an attention to detail that conveys a touch of luxury without appearing overwhelming. The interplay of natural materials and modern accents creates a warm, inviting ambience in which you immediately feel at home.
The service in the tartar sauce was reserved but good. We were greeted warmly at the reception and escorted to our table. The waiters were always attentive but never intrusive, giving us time to enjoy our meal in peace. What was particularly positive was that the waiters were able to provide information about every dish on the menu. This balance of professionalism and friendliness contributes significantly to making you feel truly valued as a guest here.
For starters we chose fried scallops and fresh chanterelles. The mussels were perfectly fried, slightly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the chanterelles also tasted wonderful with their earthy aroma. A successful start that further increased our anticipation for the main course.
For the main course we chose fish for me and grouse for my son. My fish dish was a poem: the skin of the fish was crispy and the meat was tender and juicy. It was served with seasonal vegetables and a light, yet aromatic sauce, which rounded off the dish perfectly. My son's grouse was equally impressive: juicy and tender, accompanied by a delicate jus and crispy accompaniments that beautifully enhanced the flavor of the chicken.
In summary, the Remouladen restaurant in Vejle is absolutely worth a visit. The combination of excellent food, first-class service and a charming ambience makes this restaurant a real insider tip. For anyone who values quality and taste, tartar sauce is a clear recommendation.

Very nice restaurant. Located next to the marina overlooking the fjord. Elegant, modern interior. There is a summer terrace. An exclusive menu with a well-chosen wine list. The food is very tasty. There is a children's menu, the portions are large. Prices are above average but worth it. We reserved a table in advance, because there were many people in the evening. We liked it, I can recommend it.

Often comes to Remouladen, but is a little disappointed after yesterday. The food was delicious as always, but then ordered 3 glasses of champagne, Deutz NV. It is settled at NOK 295 per glass, which is a complete rip-off. A whole bottle costs around NOK 300-400 in retail, so of course something cheaper is bought wholesale. Have had several better champagnes by the glass in many places in DK for about half the price. If you want to take NOK 295 per glass, it should at least be Vintage.
I also ask if my son can have plain Spaghetti with butter, to which they promptly say no! I explain that we have had that before, and the waiter then bows, but settles NOK 105 for Spaghetti with butter, nothing else. Their children's menus usually include some greens, etc., and my second son got a large portion of fish fillet with fries, greens and dip for NOK 115. Just remember the proportions and the good service when you, as a guest, ask perfectly reasonable questions.

Jeg har besøgt stedet mange gange gennem årerne. Så ved det er en vinder.
Vi fik bestilt bord og der var meget plads da vi en skøn juli-aften. Der blev dog fyldt pænt op og so maltes er der ro i staben til en smilende betjening. Når så også retterne er top, så blev vi også glade. Omgivelserne og udsigten fejler bestemt ikke noget. Nu skal vi hjem og spare lidt op så vi kan komme igen en anden god gang. Tak for mad.
