Restaurant Remouladen Vejle

Nice place to eat, but be aware that they don't have their fantastic Parisian steak on the menu at the moment, it's built up with tartlets!

Their smørrebrød really takes the concept of smørrebrød to a whole new level of visual and taste deliciousness!! and you get full from 2 pieces, some would say unfortunately, because you definitely want to try all the varieties!

Flot sted med en skøn udsigt ud over vandet. Personalet er flinke og service minded, man føler sig velkommen. Vi fik en 3 retters sæson menu. Gode råvarer og godt tilberedt. Det smagte dejligt. MEN - der er simpelthen for lidt mad, mængden af mad matcher bestemt ikke prisen. Samtidig syntes jeg også at priserne for vin er for høje. Tror man betaler for udsigten og navnet. Vi kommer nok ikke igen, og det er simpelthen prisen for sådan en aften der afgør det.

Fantastiske omgivelser, flot indretning, opmærksomt personale og ikke mindst den gode mad gør at jeg giver 5 stjerner. Maden er klassisk - og så alligevel ikke. Alt hvad vi fik, havde fået et skønt tvist, så det var en oplevelse.

Upscale restaurant with nice view of the harbour

Good food, but quite ordinary for the price. And there's a lack of coziness, it's a bit of a cold setup, but perhaps intended as they settle on the cold smørrebrød

We had the seasonal menu, which was a great pick for the price and the taste buds. The fish and steak were cooked to perfection but it was the stuffed Morkel mushroom with chicken and corn that "won" the price of the best dish of the night 🤯 other than that we started with two different oysters, the fried one and the other was with a ouzo vinegarette, both delicious. And we finished with the cheese plat which was fine nothing mind blowing there. The staff did a decent job, and could answer all the "stupid" questions we had about the food, drinks and the name of the place. But the overall service was nothing special and one of our waiters made us feel like "we were in the way. The view out over the harbour and the atmosphere in the restaurant were very nice 🥰 This is a great place to visit if you are starting to dip your toes in the gourmet waters 😜 would recommend... 👌
