This is a place where you can enjoy traditional Danish herring dishes. I arrived around noon without a reservation, and luckily, there was a table available. Since then, all the seats were full, so I recommend making a reservation. Following the staff's recommendation, I ordered the Elderberry Herring and Fried Herring. Traditional Danish dishes are curry and fried. I thoroughly enjoyed the Elderberry Herring, and the Fried Herring, which is made with bread spread with fat and topped with herring, was also delicious. The chewy texture of the herring was wonderful. I also paired it with Tuborg Beer and Schnapps, but if you don't like strong drinks, the beer alone would be fine. It was a delicious meal. I visited a traditional Danish restaurant known for its herring dishes around noon without a reservation. Fortunately, a seat was available, but shortly after I arrived, the restaurant filled up. I would recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a spot. I ordered the Elderberry Herring and Fried Herring on the staff's recommendation. While I enjoyed both, I learned that the traditional Danish dish is actually Curry Herring and Fried Herring. The Elderberry Herring was particularly delightful, and the Fried Herring, which consists of herring on top of a layer of fat spread on bread, was also delicious. I paired my meal with Tuborg Beer and schnapps, but if you prefer not to drink strong alcohol, the beer is an excellent option. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience.

i dont like beetroot and my favourite thing was the herring with beetroot - it was THAT good. also make sure to get the chili and honey schnapps.

An elegant restaurant, you must reserve and choose a time to go. Don't arrive before, because they'll make you wait for your scheduled time. The shrimp toast is very good and not as small as other restaurants. The pork with mushroom sauce is a good option to break away from the toast. The beer is excellent, and they always offer you a liqueur before you start eating. Great service and very attentive. Medium-high prices. Recommended.

Fue toda una sorpresa ver que aproximadamente una cuarta parte de las buenas críticas para este lugar están escritas en danés - por lo que debe atraer a los lugareños, así como a los turistas a lo que es tanto una experiencia como una comida. El almuerzo se sirve en dos sesiones en un edificio histórico adecuadamente amueblado con mesa, paños y servilletas de lino. El servicio impecable es igual - sobre todo por caballeros maduros que dan la impresión de que han aprendido y elaborado su oficio a lo largo de muchos años. No hay falsas chulerías aquí. Y por cierto la comida es excelente y claramente auténticamente danesa. Elaborados smorrebrod son los platos básicos y los dos que probé estaban bastante deliciosos. No es de extrañar que se reserve con semanas de antelación.

Qué experiencia tan increíble. El restaurante estaba lleno de lugareños, lo que siempre es una buena señal. El restaurante solo está abierto para el almuerzo y uno DEBE reservar con anticipación para evitar decepciones. La selección de comida varía, por lo que no es solo para los amantes de los peces. Pero la elección de platos de pescado son realmente increíbles y la presentación en sí es pura alegría. Por lo general sirven cerveza y Schnaps con la comida, que de nuevo es una combinación increíble. El servicio es muy bueno, y el personal habla muy bien Inglés y afortunadamente también tienen menús en Inglés. Sin duda volveríamos aquí de nuevo!
