A restaurant with an eclectic menu. Eastern and South American influences. Young, internationally educated chefs. Very tasty and plentiful dishes. Courteous and friendly service. Decent wine list. Average prices.
Very mixed experience for dinner. The main problem was the wait: over an hour for our mains to arrive. Apparently, we learned later, one of the kitchen staff burned their hand which naturally delayed everything. However, our waiter was completely absent for all of this time and didn’t come to check on us and inform us of the delay. Another staff member did and offered to reduce the bill by 50% and remove the curries which were unusually delayed and arrived after the rest of our party had almost finished their dinner. The food itself was quite good. The service was decidedly mixed but improved once someone took over for our waiter. The decor is very nice.
