09/02/2025: It was a great pleasure to return to Geranium. You always feel privileged when you enter this legendary place. The menu is magnificent, the dishes incredibly elegant, the presentation magnificent and the cooking perfectly mastered. How can you not remember that so many things started here? How can you not marvel at the beauty of some of the dishes. And if someone finds that this very neat presentation is ultimately quite classic, it is because so many restaurants have been inspired by Geranium!

04/02/2025: We were very excited when we finally got a table at Geranium and were ready to experience their 3 star Michelin food and wine pairing dinner. Our Uber had a bit of a challenge finding the entrance (they are located within the stadium) but we were greeted by Valet and escorted to elevator where we were whisked up to the entrance of Geranium. I was very taken aback when the mood lighting within elevator was replaced by the VERY bright lights of the restaurant and that was my first oh no moment of the evening. The decor cannot even be called Danish minimalist as it literally has no coziness, atmosphere and is SO SO loud due to their horrible acoustics within this space. The table has no linens and is a cold stone top inserted into a wood frame again nothing special or unique and contributes to the rather cold impersonal touch and feel of Geranium. I ordered the juice pairing (OUT OF THIS WORLD) and my husband the Classic selection of 3 wine pairings offered. Service was interesting as we got the feeling it was a very robotic service except for 1 female server whose smile actually reached her eyes and was the one who gave us our kitchen and wine cellar tour. The other servers including the Sommelier seem to just be going thru the motions and again although very polite and efficient you certainly got the feeling you were just 1 more person in their sold out evening of service. The Food was amazing and certainly more than worth their reputation but for the exorbitant amount of money spent on this evening there is a severe lack of atmosphere, passion and coziness that would have made this a memorable evening for us both.
