A really good experience at Restaurant Tokyo. We were welcomed and the food was just fantastic. We ordered Sukiyaki and Tonkatsu. They both tasted fantastic and you could tell that the food was made with love :). The sukiyaki base was flavorful, the thin slices of beef melted in the mouth while the tonkatsu was both crispy and soft inside. I wasn't a fan of the sauce but my boyfriend really liked it. In addition to the food, the staff were also welcoming. I would recommend that you book well in advance to get a table!

We had the Sukiyaki menu and it was superb. I recommend to follow the restaurant’s advice and have it with raw egg if you like it. It makes such a different and it is delicious. The menu include starters, pickles, miso soup, the sukiyaki and desert. You can choose whether to sit at the tatami or high table at booking and it is recommended to book in advance.

The atmosphere is absolutely fantastic. I got nice soup and a lot of small delicious dishes, in return was The meat is dry and overcooked unfortunately.😕

Great Japanese food. Service was fantastic (especially for Danish standards) and you can choose to sit in the traditional Japanese way - on the floor (space permitting), with the shoes off. It’s a nice touch to the authentic Japanese food. The downside is that it is very expensive for what you get. However the price is comparable to other restaurants in the area.

A little while ago, I spent about three weeks in Denmark for work. The local food was also wonderful and I enjoyed it, but just as I was starting to get discouraged by all the foreign flavors, I stopped by this Japanese restaurant. Even though it's overseas, it seems like it's a Japanese-run shop, and I felt at ease knowing that I could communicate in Japanese. Above all, I was really impressed by the taste of the food, which was just like in Japan. I will never forget being able to experience the same taste of Japan in a foreign land.

The Tokyo special menu at this Japanese restaurant was truly outstanding. The thinly sliced beef melted in my mouth, complemented perfectly by the savory-sweet broth and fresh vegetables. What made the experience even more special was the history of the restaurant. From the traditional decor to the attentive service, every detail transported me to Japan. It's clear that the chefs here take great pride in crafting authentic dishes, making it a must-visit for anyone craving an authentic taste of Japanese cuisine.

It was so delicious!! We took the Sukiyaki hotpot menu- really recommend it!

Fine and very authentic Japanese food. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room and especially the toilets need a renovation.
