I ate katsudon and shabu shabu. The thinly sliced ​​shabu shabu meat has no odor and is sliced ​​quite thinly, which is great. Since it was summer, I thought it would have been even more appreciated if they had cold shabu. The owner is a so-called Showa-style father. He probably doesn't have any bad intentions, but there's a lot of body touching, so girls should be careful. Please.

We spontaneously decided on this restaurant and luckily got a seat. So you should definitely make a reservation, especially in the evening. The atmosphere is really great. You have the option of sitting at a normal table or eating in the classic way while kneeling at the low Japanese tables. The food was really good and the sashimi menu was amazing! You should definitely bring a little more time to enjoy everything.

Don't be fooled by the humble entrance hallway, you are in for a wonderfully delicious treat! Authentic Japanese taste and hospitality! We celebrated our wedding anniversary in a great atmosphere trying out a little bit of almost everything on the menu.

By far one of the top Japanese restaurants in Copenhagen. Yes the restaurant itself could use a bit of freshining up and it is on the expensive side but the price is totally acceptable for the quality and authenticity of the food. The servers were super accomodating especially to our son! We will definitely be back for the sukiyaki again! The tea they serve after is such a wonderful way to cap the night.

We just spent our anniversary at Restaurant Tokyo. We had the best experience! We chose the japanese style seating, where you sit on the floor on tatami mats. A real fun experience and the decor is beautiful! we ordered the Tokyo Special menu with sashimi, tempura, yakitori and sukiyaki amongs other delicious dishes. Umai! The food was amazing and a true adventure to our tastebuds. The service was the best! we had the sweetest waiter from Sendai who took really good care of us and shared traveltips, when she heard we are planing a trip to Japan next year. (thank you so much if you see this review!!) The timing between the courses was perfect due to the keen eyes of the staff and we left happy and full. we will be back! Itadakimasu!

Authentic Japanese food and welcoming Japanese service, it was a throw back to our trip to Japan!
