Cool experience to find an old school Japanese place in Copenhagen. Also points for being Japanese without serving sushi. Food felt authentic and happy to see thinly sliced meat in Copenhagen. I would have preferred to get the spread menu served all at once instead of having it as a western course meal. Waiters kept asking to remove side dishes while it would have been good to keep for our sukiyaki.

It was soo good. I definitely recommend it. The staff was so kind and the food delicious. It felt like being in Japan and the place was so comfy and cozy. It's not so cheap especially if you're a foreign tourist, but was worth the price and portions are abundant.

Authentic restaurant. We ate on tatami mats, which reminded us of our trip to Japan. The food was very good, and the service was impeccable. The only downside was that the carafe of water was chargeable, but otherwise, nothing special, I recommend it!

One of the few Japanese restaurants which isn’t a sushi place - which is a great way to experience a more authentic and different side of Japanese cuisine. 🍲🍱🍚 The place have been around since the 60’s and is still owned by the same family who started it back then. 🙏 The food was delicious yet pretty pricey, but absolutely worth it, especially if you order a menu where you really get value for the money 😍 You can choose to either book a table where you sit on the floor, or a more normal table. 🙂 Our waiter spoke English and was very friendly and kind, but there was also one of the waitress who spoke Danish too. I can definitely recommend this place, and will definitely be coming back again.

Excellent place to eat. Truly. We ordered the fried pork sandwich (I don’t like pork but this tasted absolutely amazing not fatty and lean meat) you won’t be disappointed! And the friend chicken with rice was delicious. Price was very reasonable Thank you for having us!

Just had their onigiri set for lunch, everything on point, the size was great, the food fabulous, still the best Japanese restaurant in town.

Best Japanese food I tried outside of Japan. Authentic and very classical atmosphere. Kind and polite staff, and amazing food We were caught in the midst of a countrywide electronic payment breakdown upon asking for the receipt. The staff were very understanding and helpful They even gave us the liberty to choose to pay later from our country of origin just based on an email reference. (We found cash in the end and the matter was settled there and then ) Nevertheless, I loved their trust and respect for their customers. 5+ :)

We tried their lunch menu. Everything's delicious and very budget friendly. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back (and also try their dinner menu).
