One of the most delicious and ornate hamburgers I've ever eaten.

Hard to hear the conversation from the others at the table. Strong bass resonance from the orchestra.

Valentino is a cozy old restaurant that is popular for their platters (sandwiches) the food is usually super good. However, I thought the food was a bit too peppery this year, otherwise I have been coming there for many years

Ordered a classic luxury shooting star with fried and steamed fish fillet, got a fried small fish fillet with a piece of smoked salmon on it.... Almost Føtex standard, so nothing to go for here. Nicely decorated but. The price on the internet was 169... but we paid 189.. That's just our assessment, maybe you think it was better.

The food was OK. The tea was warm 😒

Bedset pepper steak for a really long time

Lovely restaurant, super delicious food and nice service 🤗 There were 13 of us for lunch, within half an hour delicious food and drinks were served. Super sweet waiter who was very attentive to whether we needed anything. Will definitely be back next year, on our annual hill trip.🌞

It was truly a pleasure to eat at Valentino. Bakken's coziest restaurant with lots of soul and charm. There was good service throughout the dinner and the waiter was a true host. We had Schnitzel and shooting stars. Both dishes were top notch and you were more than full. Can really recommend Valentino❤️

Restaurant Valentino – a positive surprise at Bakken We had planned a nice evening at Cirkusrevyen on July 11, 2025, and a good evening of course also includes a good meal. But it turned out to be a challenge to find a restaurant with good reviews at Bakken – and when you don’t know the area that well, it can be difficult to choose the right one. Still, we decided to take a chance and reserve a table at Valentino – and it turned out to be a really good choice. When we arrived, we were greeted by an almost full restaurant and a friendly and welcoming hostess. Our party of four adults all chose a 2-course menu. The starter – “smoked, plucked salmon with sea buckthorn” – was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented with a crispy salad. For the main course, three of us had “roasted beef fillet”, while one chose “young rooster breast”. The beef fillet was tender and tasty, served with plenty of side dishes and a good, classic bearnaise sauce. The young rooster was juicy and also beautifully presented. The service was a pleasure – fresh, professional and with a twinkle in the eye. You shouldn't always be guided by reviews – sometimes you just have to take a chance. And in this case we were pleasantly surprised. This is definitely not the last time we visit Valentino. Here you get good food, good service and a cozy atmosphere at reasonable prices. Thank you for a wonderful experience and a perfect start to the evening!
