So fresh fish! Delicious. Service was so great and welcome to tourists;) local beers are amazing! The prices are so lovely.

As good as we remember from 30+ years ago. The røget makreller (smoked mackerel) is a must! Get a side of fries (pommefrites) - they're spectacular!

A real local sort of living room with pub status. As soon as someone walks in, you immediately get the feeling that you're sitting in someone's regular spot ;-) Almost everyone is sitting with a bottle of beer *and* a cigarette!! It turns out you are officially allowed to smoke there. Inside, too. And it is done a lot. So, very 'old-fashioned stifling'. By the way, the fact that smoking is allowed is clearly indicated outside, but I missed those black signs. My mistake :-) I had a large draft beer and a tonic: that cost almost 13 euros... so veeeery pricey! We didn't eat there. I didn't exactly get the impression that it was a restaurant either.

A very good, unpretentious little restaurant where you can enjoy superb fish, smoked on-site. An unusual place where you might even see regular customers smoking (not fish 😂) inside. The owner gives a very warm welcome and prepares her dishes with passion. Highly recommended.

25/08/2026: Very nice place, the cafe is beautifully situated, right on the harbor of Kerteminde.
22/08/2026: Hi. We read the reviews before we came. We were looking forward to it... but.. We ordered food and drinks. First came the appetizer (without napkins and plates - food served on the plate), we waited, but went and got it ourselves... After came the main course - cutlery for them came later (not at the same time), as the food has started to get cold.. In the pictures the food looks nice and you want to taste it. But it is a little different than in the picture. The young people who work there need to try to learn a little more to be good. There was a table full of glasses and plates that were not cleared within 10 minutes and it does not look good. When they got the payment the waiter was supposed to clean at the same time.... Hope they do better next time.
