Denmark's second best beef sandwich? I haven't tried the one that The Brown Knights listed as the best, but this is my best without a doubt. Full of well balanced flavors but still not overpowering. Easy and horny. French fries in absolute top class. All accompanied by a Thy Classic in real sejdel. Genuinely nice service. Book a table because this place is popular.

Resturant VB (Vestre Baadlaug) will today have tested their steak sandwich with sauce and expectations are high as they have been nominated several times in several categories for Denmark's best steak sandwich and won the award in 2013. We arrived at 12.00 at the booked table and were shown to our table where we were actually ordered straight away. The food was served at our table at 12.19 and Wow it looks nice in the deep mosul painted plate. Food looks inviting, beautifully presented and piping hot. The bun is immediately a home-baked brioche bun that has just been toasted and tastes wonderful. The steak is approx. 180-200 grams and it is fried hard and has a really good frying crust. The meat is a bit rough in texture and is finely seasoned with salt and pepper and the taste is quite nice without being ostentatious. My steak was cooked medium, personally I could have liked it more pink, but it was ok. Home-pickled cucumbers tasted quite nice, although there weren't very many of them, on the other hand, there were some of the home-pickled beetroots, which tasted wonderful and were cut into slightly coarse pieces so that they had a bite, delicious. The homemade remoulade tasted quite superb and was well balanced in terms of quantity. A bit special for a steak sandwich, there were very finely sliced ​​white onions in this which gave a sharp taste, as opposed to these there were sweet soft onions which were wonderful. On the top, hand-rounded, there were home-roasted onions which tasted wonderful and gave a nice crunch, between the roasted onions there were scattered live chives for the sake of sight. There was a nice amount of the sauce and it had a sweet taste with a little anise without being overpowering. The sauce tasted ok without being flashy. It's not Denmark's best steak sandwich, but it definitely belongs at the good end of the field among the approx. 55 steak sandwiches I have eaten over the last year all over Denmark, and with a lunch price of DKK. 139.- for this bandit, it must clearly have 5 out of 5 stars. Clearly a recommendation where price and quality are clearly linked.

Really nice steak sandwich, good sauce and good fries. Their roast pork with parsley sauce isn't bad either. It's a cozy little place, definitely worth a visit.

Nice restaurant, right on the marina. Newly made terrace and a tasteful interior design. The food was really tasty and the portions were good😋
