An excellent Italian restaurant in this slightly out-of-the-way neighborhood of Copenhagen The welcome was warm and the food delicious; we had a wonderful evening.

Here is the updated review: Here is the updated review: "Il Retrogusto in Copenhagen is an authentic Italian oasis! The kitchen uses fresh products to create incredible dishes. The bruschettas were crunchy and tasty, the risotto with artichokes and saffron was creamy and delicious (the chef took care to prepare it lactose-free, at my request!), the pork cheek was tender and full of flavour. The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who recommended an exquisite glass of wine. To finish, the dessert of the day was an incredible delight for the palate, accompanied by a fabulous mango, passion fruit and orange sorbet! The Italian music in the background was the finishing touch: it tastes like home and pleasantly accompanies you throughout the evening. The warm and welcoming atmosphere completes everything.

Excellent welcome despite the late hour for a restaurant in Denmark. We ate delicious food in a great atmosphere!

A fantastic authentic Italian restaurant. We knew it would be good when a group of Italian men walked in! We had the mixed bruschetta for starter which was delicious, then onto carbonara and the ravioli. Both dishes were delicious, pasta just al dente but so flavourful and good size portions. Ended with the tiramisu which was so good. The vibe is very laid back, cosy feel, but the host very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a lovely special dinner in the city.

Le service est très agréable, oui c'est un peu long mais c'était vraiment super bon ! L'attente vaut le coup. Nous recommandons !
