A pretty mediocre shooting star The presentation speaks for itself, it looks like an overturned shrimp cocktail with a fish fillet. Although the fish fillet was nice and crispy, the lack of dressing was a big issue for me. On the way out I looked at their lunch buffet, it looked good, but with a large predominance of smoked food. A completely average experience.

There is a very large selection of fresh fish and many salads in various styles. Frozen products are also available.

Anyone visiting Hvide Sande simply must stop by Hvide Sande Røgeri ApS. We were absolutely thrilled with the freshness and quality of the products. The fish is cooked to perfection, tender, and incredibly flavorful. However, I'd especially like to highlight the homemade remoulade. I've rarely experienced such a perfect balance of creaminess, subtle acidity, and crunchy bits. It tastes worlds better than anything you can buy in the supermarket and gives the fish and chips that special something. You can immediately taste that everything here is made with love and according to their own recipe. The staff was also exceptionally friendly, and the ambiance right on the harbor perfectly complements the maritime experience. We'll definitely be back – if only for an extra dollop of this fantastic remoulade!

A fantastic fish buffet with everything a fish lover could wish for. The fish counter at the front is amazing.

I ordered mussels and stjerneskud. Both were delicious. Very friendly staff.

Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, delicious buffet with many different fish dishes – hot, cold, smoked, marinated… with many side dishes, two soups, and ice cream for dessert for €40 – unbeatable! Reservations recommended.

The soup and the marinated versions of fish were great, the rest fluctuated a lot in quality. The service was faultless.

The lady serving us was fantastic, very sweet and had a kind smile. However the man who welcomed us, a Norwegian guy was super unpleasant and made us feel very uncomfortable. Otherwise the food was alright, we had a buffet, and it was alright but not more than that.

The fish restaurant Røgeriets Spisested offers both à la carte dishes and an excellent fish buffet with a wide selection of smoked, fried, and chilled fish, as well as various seafood. Two different soups, hot and cold dishes, salads and bread on the side, and ice cream in many different flavors round off a perfect dinner. All this at a reasonably good price, at least by Danish standards. And don't worry, the buffet is constantly replenished; there's always plenty of everything! The service is attentive, helpful, and friendly—what more could you ask for? We will definitely be back, we promise!
