Rib House Roskilde

The food was good but the service was not so good. We ordered 2 glasses of wine and were not told what they were, both were white and we couldn't figure out who ordered them.

Rib-House is a great place to have an excellent meal in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We have been here several times and will return.

Large piece of ribeye cooked to perfection. We have visited the place many times and are very satisfied most of the times. If you like steak, then this place is perfect!

Både mad og service har fået et løft synes vi. Alt var helt perfekt i dag, servicen var rigtig god og alt spillede. De bøffer var stegt til perfektion! Tak for skøn mad.

Very delicious food Top service

Good food, nice service, cozy atmosphere, but a tendency to make a lot of noise, boring when you have a bit of hearing loss.

Lovely food and lots of it. The salad buffet is phenomenal and you could actually easily eat your fill with a salad bar and a starter. Cozy atmosphere but remember to book a table as the house is often full.

We found this place by pure accident and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere was cosy and personal, not super loud and allowed us to have a proper conversation throughout. The menu is a “DIY” order form, in a way. You will be given a pen and paper and you fill in what it is you’d like to have. Simple to understand and see how much you’re about to spend before even ordering. Portions were massive, leaning on “a little too big”. Starters: My partner got the Bruchetta and enjoyed it and ate it all. I ordered prawn cocktail, it was amazing but there was just too much shrimp on the plate that I couldn’t finish it and still leave room for mains, which is a pity as I love prawns. Mains: My partner got the steak with a few dips and a jacket potato. His steak was cooked perfectly but he did not manage to drink the entire plate as the portion was rather large especially following a starter. I ordered the medallions with a jacket potato too and while I did enjoy it again I could the portion just a little too large especially following that prawn cocktail. Desserts: Got the Belgian waffle with ice cream to share. It was refreshing and not too sweet. We did not finish it however it was great. Prices were fair and fair; with options like a salad bar where you’re free to pick and choose whatever you’d like. Lots and lots of options!! Loved the place and its staff. If I were to change one thing it would be to lower portion sizes so that less food goes to waste and the restaurant makes more money in general!! Great stuff.
