Really nice food and service at this price point. Definitely recommend.

We had an absolute lovely dinner last night at Ripotot. The staff was incredible, super friendly and so attentive. The chefs presented us with a wonderful 10 course sharing menu. We loved every single dish and will be dreaming about the cheese soufflé, the catch of the day and the donut for dessert. It was such an amazing mix of flavours and different dishes and every single one was done so well. They were also incredibly accommodating to my grapefruit intolerance. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant :)

We came here on a recommendation from someone whose taste I trust, and with a Google rating this high our expectations were reasonable to set high. I want to be fair about what worked before getting to what didn't. The service was excellent. Attentive, warm, and present without hovering. The room has a genuine buzz to it, and while I can see other reviewers finding it loud, we liked it. It felt like a restaurant people actually want to be in. The drinks were fine. Two Palomas and two Negronis, competently made, nothing you'd travel for. The problem was the food, which is what should be doing the heavy lifting at these prices. It started with the ordering. The chef's suggested set menu was presented in a way that left us more confused than when we sat down, and the explanation didn't clear it up. We're not big eaters, so we went à la carte instead. Fried chicken (95 kr). The batter was overworked and too dark, and it tasted the way it looked. The chicken underneath was dry and short on seasoning. I'll say plainly what I thought at the table: KFC does this better, on both moisture and flavour. If a kitchen can't land a fried chicken, it shouldn't be on the menu. Tuna crudo (135 kr). Both the fish and the sauce were off. The tuna had lost its texture and read as mushy rather than silky, and the sauce sat heavily around it instead of lifting it. Stracciatella (145 kr). The menu specified chilli. There was no discernible heat, and no clear idea holding the plate together. Melon, mint, toasted almonds and herb oil, all pleasant on their own, none of them in conversation with each other. Catch of the day, sea bass (185 kr). This was the real disappointment. Three small pieces of fish in a bowl of sauce. Catch of the day, as a concept, is about respecting the fish and showing it at its fullest. A chef is entitled to interpret that however they like, but what arrived was a token amount of sea bass, once again half-hidden under a sauce that didn't seem to know what it was for. Doughnut (95 kr). The saving grace, and we genuinely enjoyed it. A sugared doughnut with cream on top is a simple thing, and it was the only plate that came out confident about what it was. Total was 1,155 kr for two, including water and four cocktails. That isn't outrageous for central Copenhagen, and I'd happily pay it for food that landed. Given the strength of the reviews here, I'm willing to believe we caught an off night, and the front of house team deserves better than the kitchen gave them. But I can only review the meal we were served, and on that evidence I can't recommend it.

We had a really lovely evening. Great food, incredibly nice staff and all in all just a really great atmosphere. The menu worked really well and the wine list was fantastic. It won't be the last time!

We had the best raw steak here and a fried zucchini with basil aioli that we will try to recreate at home. The service was great, the food came quickly. The only thing that let it down was the price and that I got an allergy from one of the dishes. Even though we had been clear in advance about what allergies I had

Cozy restaurant with nice preset menu. We tried all their 10 dishes and all of them were amazing. Ideal place for romantic evening.

Ripotot is for me one of the best restaurants in Cph. Atmosphere, staff, quality of the food, coziness and pricing!! Of course you can get “better” michillin food etc. but this is the food you need and it will blow your mind🤩

I went to Ripotot last night and had such a lovely experience. From the service, amazing wine pairings, and such special food, I highly recommend eating here. Definitely one of my new favourite restaurants in Copenhagen.

We had a dinner there last night and ordered 7 out of 10 dishes in the menu, every single one was delicious and we got to experience many new tastes. Attentive and nice service, they were proud of their food and talked about it a lot. Nice wines too and they accept Amex. The atmosphere was nice. 10/10!
