Rønnede Kro Faxe

Lovely experience at Rønnede kro. There was a really good distance between the tables, music in the background that didn't drown out the conversation, but loud enough that you could hear it. The waiter was welcoming and quick when you ordered a drink, for example, it didn't take 20 minutes before it arrived with a few minutes. The food was heavenly, we had an Easter lunch menu with herring, prawns, salmon and other starters. For the main course there was lamb and for dessert there was a chocolate mousse which tasted great. The drinks were also nice, the red wine was good and suited the lamb, the coffee was good. The toilets were clean and lovely.

The perfect evening in the most beautiful setting. We got the big menu in the restaurant and everything played. Fantastic wines, creative and delicious dishes and thorough and attentive service. We will come again ☺️

Rønnede kro is always worth a visit. Smiling service and good food, but someone had apparently forgotten to turn on the heat, so sad to be there with a closet where you sit and freeze all evening.

Just great, will definitely go there again.

Really good food, but was forgotten for a while by the waiters

Not only is Rønnede Kro fantastically beautiful to look at from the outside, but the atmosphere can also be found inside the very beautiful rooms. The light is dimmed as if it is only light from candles and oil lamps that illuminate the beautiful interior with beautiful old paintings. If you listen carefully, you will almost be able to hear H.C. Andersen reciting one of his fairy tales during one of his stays on his many trips to Denmark. The service from the nice young people and the food we got could not be faulted. A wonderfully tasty Winerschnitzel with plenty of side dishes meant that we had no room for dessert in our full bellies. A lovely beer from Lolland, more specifically called Krenkerup, was also drunk. Thank you for a wonderful overall experience. Greetings from Nysted

It's a shame that smørrebrød has been 'modernised' so much that the taste has disappeared...

Was visiting and had a lovely Sunday brunch. Lovely food, good service and very cosy.

Vi ville egentligt have prøvet “kro-ret” eller hvad det nu hed. Min bedre halvdel havde bestilt bord, men ikke været opmærksom på det skulle have været angivet ved bestilling. Vores fejl - men vi valgte at beholde vores reservation alligevel. Vi var tre voksne og et bar på 9. Vi bestilte forskelligt fra menu. Samt en flaske rød, som bestemt var godkendt. Generelt var maden fin - min bøf var dig ikke den bedste - men ok. Vi sluttede af med kaffe og dessert. Betjeningen var imødekomme, dog var der små forglemmelser. Så vi måtte bestille vand to gange. Den meget unge tjener der havde vist os til rette havde vist glemt det. Ham der overtog virkede meget mere erfaren, og imødekommende. Vi kommer gerne igen og håbe, skønheds fejl er forduftet. Så den sidste “stjerne” kan tildeles :-)
