Lovely food in beautiful surroundings.

High quality smørrebrød at a high price, but a bit small pieces

A fantastic dining experience in a historic setting! Easter lunch at Rønnede Kro - it doesn't seem to get much better. The atmosphere was top notch in the beautifully restored premises, and the service was both professional and friendly. But best of all was of course the food - and the drinks. We had a delicious Austrian Riesling (Senftenberg "Steilheit" from Kremstal), an IPA from Krenkerup on Falster and a glass of plum stone schnapps that tasted like a dream. The food was served in three courses: curry herring, prawns with stone bite roe, home-smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, fried plaice fillet with home-made remoulade and a pig rillette. Only the rillette did not live up to the otherwise sky-high standard – it was dry and rather tasteless. Next came lamb culotte with potato gratin, followed by a delicious, delicious dessert: light chocolate mousse with orange and vanilla ice cream – topped with a wonderful crumble. The coffee? Yes, it was also really good. We thank you very much for an unforgettable dining experience and will be happy to return for one of the many exciting special events.

Lovely experience at Rønnede kro. There was a really good distance between the tables, music in the background that didn't drown out the conversation, but loud enough that you could hear it. The waiter was welcoming and quick when you ordered a drink, for example, it didn't take 20 minutes before it arrived with a few minutes. The food was heavenly, we had an Easter lunch menu with herring, prawns, salmon and other starters. For the main course there was lamb and for dessert there was a chocolate mousse which tasted great. The drinks were also nice, the red wine was good and suited the lamb, the coffee was good. The toilets were clean and lovely.

The perfect evening in the most beautiful setting. We got the big menu in the restaurant and everything played. Fantastic wines, creative and delicious dishes and thorough and attentive service. We will come again ☺️

Frokosten på Rønnede Kro var super lækker.. hjemmebagt brød, bedste hønsesalat og sjældent har jeg fået så lækker en sildemad. Betjeningen var i top og rigtig sødt personale. Dertil smukke omgivelser. Her skal vi helt sikkert spise igen.

Vi var til et arrangement med afternoon tea i deres fine sal. Der var kø ved indgangen, fordi det var sat til at starte på et bestemt tidspunkt, og det er jo fint nok, at folk er ivrige efter at komme ind. Til gengæld resulterede det i, at de 2-3 tjenere havde meget travlt med at tage bestillinger, og det virkede faktisk til, at de var lidt overbebyrdede lige dér i spidsbelastningen. Der var blevet gjort opmærksom på en nøddeallergi ved bestillingen, men det udmøntede sig ikke på serveringen. Af de kager, der blev serveret, var der kun én uden nødder. Lidt skuffende..

Rønnede kro is always worth a visit. Smiling service and good food, but someone had apparently forgotten to turn on the heat, so sad to be there with a closet where you sit and freeze all evening.

Just great, will definitely go there again.
