My adult daughter and I want to try as many Mardi Gras buns as possible in Copenhagen this year. Rondo's Swedish semla Marzipan bun tasted like a dream and is one of our clear favourites. Finally jump out and try it. No one will regret it!

Bought an old-fashioned Mardi Gras bun. In my opinion, an old-fashioned Mardi Gras bun is a bun with baked cream. The cream has been injected into this bun afterwards. The cream is too sweet and consists mostly of whipped cream. The dough, on the other hand, is too salty for my taste. Not super bad, but not super good either.

I tried their semla fastelavn (seasonal) and it was insanely good. Vanilla and almond cream. Place was busy, no inside seating. The focaccia looked good

Always good baked goods etc. but today 9/2 around midday super rocky service. Just teach the young gentlemen to greet customers politely and generally adopt a more professional tone when speaking to customers. You can just have a chat with them about that. And again: the baked goods are excellent.

A small neighborhood bakery. Everything is fresh. Do not convert it to TL. Get it and experience its taste. The breads are great.

Rondo’s "BMO" is hands down the best I’ve had in Copenhagen—and I’ve tried a lot! A must-visit spot!

Savoury pastry (40DKK) I was actually asking for another pastry (with onion, parmesan, and mushroom) but somehow got this one with spinach and feta. My fault for not realising until much later. A lot of people recommended Rondo’s savoury pastry to me but this one was just decent. It is nice to finally try out non-sweet pastry in Copenhagen for sure, however the spinach tasted weird cold and feta made the pastry soggy. I can’t help but feel like I should have asked for BMO or focaccia sandwich instead. Cinammon roll (35DKK) Very flaky pastries compared to the sweet bun version (more like a bread than pastry) I usually eat. I did find it a bit too sweet, though Rondo’s version had an interesting lemon twist to this classic pastry. It was nice, but not something I would repurchase.

Wonderful neighborhood bakery. The BMO (bread bun with butter & cheese) is the best in CPH! It is just a little bit a pity that no one works there with aesthetics. You enter through a flour storage, the counter houses random items. It is a pity, since the products are wonderful. The display could be so nice. You have talented bakers, get your logistics sorted and pay a bit of attention to “what is in the customers view” and how does it look like. Redo the lighting, I have several spotlights blinding me when I enter. You can do it.
