Really nice place. Good food and good service.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant which serves classic Danish smørrebrød and other traditional dishes, in very high quality and at reasonable prices. The restaurant it self is beautiful and the service is top notch. I recommend this place and will definitely be coming back again soon.

We celebrated my father's 90th birthday. There was a welcome drink and 4 courses afterwards. Nice room with plenty of atmosphere, low ceilings and a nice view out to a beautiful afternoon sun and a staff who performed optimally for the guests. Tastefully arranged and the waiters were good at serving between speeches and songs. Rungsted kro contributed to an unforgettable 90th birthday. Thank you🫶 Few guests wanted a different menu. In the course of 10 minutes, a fish dish with greens was served. Fantastically fast and decoratively served.

Was tik Dining Week with delicious food and good wines

Visited Rungsted Kro in connection with dining week - we are always out trying 2-3 restaurants to find new good places to visit again. This will not be one we come across again, unfortunately. The starter tasted great, but you could have used a bit of gunpowder to make the chips that went with the tartare yourself. we were offered more bread - everything promised well. The main course arrived, but it wasn't French fries Anna - it was prefabricated peka cream potatoes in a tube - apart from that, it tasted great. We reach the point where it is starting to be time for dessert - the waiter comes and asks us as the first in the room if we are ready for dessert - we say yes, thank you. We are asked if we want coffee, and we politely say no... And then the service makes a different sound. We are served dessert as the very last ones in the room, it is so boring and tasteless that it might as well have been the same. We ask for the bill, and it is thrown on the table, we pay - and then the Dankort receipt is thrown on the table as if it were rubbish and the waiter leaves, without so much as a figure for tonight, or anything nice and service minded.

Was at dinner week and it was a really good experience. Tasty and looked beautiful at the same time. Cozy atmosphere and lovely warm service 👍👍👍👍👍

High quality traditional Danish food. I can recommend the Karen Blixen platter if you want to try several different open sandwiches…..and you are hungry.

2 x frokost med smørrebrød på Rungsted Kro på et meget højt niveau, giver anledning til 5 store stjerner. Bl.a. en helt fantastisk karrysild, som vi glæder os til at smage igen.

An old Inn with tasty traditional Danish food. Excellent choise...

Vi var 4 personer der fik en juleplatte vistnok erstatningen for Karen Blixen platten. Platten var fin bortset fra, at fiskefiletterne knap fyldte 1/2 stk. rugbrød. Desserten risalamande blev serveret i en miniskål. En spiste det ikke og resten af selskabet fik kun 3-4 teskefulde hver. På forespørgsel om vi kunne få lidt mere, kunne vi kun mod ekstra betaling.
