Absolutely amazing place! The regular customers "own the place" and it's very charming, I now felt welcome anyway and was welcome in the conversation. There is no flattery, and that is liberating. I was only supposed to have a cup of coffee, but was stuck for several hours because of the atmosphere in the place. One of the most authentic things I have experienced in Copenhagen in recent years.

Sabine's always has an impeccable laid-back vibe. The dish of the day is always cheap - and comes in well-distributed portions, you'd be a skarn if you left hungry. Many regular customers come there - myself included - just because it's cozy and relaxed. If you look, you sometimes also see celebrities hanging out - just because there they can be themselves, together with "the rest of us"
