Sabotøren København

Normally I wouldn’t review a wine-bar but since I ate here as well I thought it would be fitting. I’ve lived in the neighborhood for many years, and I also visited Sabotøren at one point for a quick glass of wine, however this time we were there for a couple of hours. Not being a wine guy or knowing much about wine I won’t spend so much time going deep on those, however I’ll comment on the service, the hospitality and the food we ate. All three were great! The guy behind the counter was a lovely quick witted guy with lots of recommendations and obviously super knowledgeable. We ended up drinking about three of wine glasses each, all were wonderful but again he could have served me anything and I would’ve liked it. In terms of the food - or more snacks at it was, it was a good selection. We went with some different Italian salumis accompanied by olive tapanades, cheese and toasted bread. Quite good I must say, great sourcing and selection. It was a wonderful evening, I’ll make sure to come back.

Smaller place where you can only sit outside with a glass of wine, it's a bit on the expensive side but cozy enough especially in the summer

Cozy winebar, the lady behind the bar was very helpful with recommendations. It's all (or mostly) natural and small producers. Good atmosphere but the wine selection was a bit too quirky for my taste.
