Really good service 👍😉 Good food and cozy atmosphere.

In the city center at the top of the pedestrian street is this restaurant and bar. We quickly got a table and there was plenty of room for lunch / brunch. The food tasted ok but nothing special. The rye bread that was served did not taste fresh and was a bit dry. A mushroom toast with cold mushrooms that could actually have been prepared to order so it could have been warm. Service? Wasn't there much other than they said we could find a table ourselves and served the food. No one asked about anything, only if they could take the plates. Not many smiles from the staff. And our guests behind us didn't get any nice words when they asked where their food went. There is a nice view from the top but not enough to make up for the unfortunately not so good things.

For lunch I had ordered a salad with salmon, which was beautiful - both in appearance and taste. The place gets a lovely recommendation from me.

Tipped off by store staff, we took the elevator and stairs to the roof terrace. The weather was beautiful and there was a lovely view over Aalborg and the surrounding area.

Quite by chance we discovered that the elevator takes you straight to the roof of the department store, where there is a beautiful view in all directions. Both the part of the city around the fjord, and on the other side over the roofs of houses and beyond. The food was fantastic, large portions, but the staff was not very fast. We wanted to pack the rest of the food home, but we had to remind ourselves twice before someone even came to take the leftovers and bring the boxes.
