Best meal we have ever had! Outstanding tastes, presentations and staff!

Beyond expectations! Having dinned throughout most of Copenhagen and at all of the Michelin rated restaurants, Sanchez is by far the best. My American palette loves spice and Sanchez delivers like no other restaurant in Copenhagen can. Tried the 5 item tasting menu in Summer of 2026. Top tip, book the chefs table to watch the kitchen.

Sanchez is an upscale fine dining restaurant, offering a truly exceptional culinary experience in Copenhagen. A symphony of flavors to be savored with every bite, beautifully presented and enjoyed in a truly warm and welcoming atmosphere. But as I always say, what matters most is the people. And here, they surpass every expectation. A team working in perfect harmony, led by a highly experienced Head Chef, supported by outstanding chefs and exceptionally professional head waiters, all dedicated to delivering an unforgettable dining experience. In two words: Simply exceptional A memory I’ll cherish forever.

Overall, the experience was good. A few dishes were absolutely outstanding—especially the mussels (which is saying something, since I’m usually not a mussels fan) and the beef cheek tacos. However, some of the other dishes missed the mark for me, so the meal felt a bit hit-or-miss overall. I also felt the portions were on the smaller side considering the price. My biggest disappointment was the special cocktail menu, which was almost entirely mezcal-based. Since I personally dislike mezcal and substitutions or alternative cocktails weren’t available, it significantly detracted from my experience. That said, the standout dishes were memorable enough that I’m still glad I visited.

One of our favorite restaurants in general, not just in cph. We came for our our anniversary celebration after coming last year for my husband’s bday. It never disappoints. The food changes but it’s always extremely good. The flavors, the sauces, the service, the ambient. We always love the main taco, and this time the blue mussels enchilados were mind-blowing. Due to allergies the staff had to accommodate some changes and were super kind to us. The chocolate mousse dessert is always mindblowing: with salsa macha, kelp bites, and a decadent chocolate mousse, I dreamed of having it again and I am dreaming of it once more! The smoky margaritas are amazing too. We love this place! Please never close.

Overall the tasting menu was pretty good but the main was cold, making the experience feel overpriced for the quality. So it was a little disappointing after planning our day around it.

We ordered the three-course experience, and both the carrot and beef tacos were excellent, both in flavor and presentation. The chef gave us a brief explanation with each serving, which added a special touch to the experience. I would have preferred the music to be more representative of Mexico; it's just a minor detail or personal preference. The staff was excellent. Recommended 🙂

The food and service were very good, we will definitely return for the menu change.

Sat at chef’s counter and they were so welcoming and friendly. Front of house, lead by Biba, were amazing and the chefs embrace you as their guest, giving recommendations about the city, etc. Food was excellent and inventive. Best mussels I’ve ever had! Great time all around!
