SanGiovanni Aalborg

Classic Italian family-owned restaurant with a long history. Run by the second generation. Well-made pizzas with excellent ingredients. Crispy base and plenty of freshly grated parmesan. Also many classic Italian dishes on the menu and a large wine cellar with good wines in different price ranges. Nice service. The only warning is about their baked pizza where the tomato sauce is served on the side. Stupid concoction.

We had pizza, Salsiccia Forte and Quattro Stagioni. They tasted fantastic and made from high quality ingredients. Big praise to the young staff who were friendly and competent. Definitely recommended.

A good Italian restaurant, but it doesn't stand out. The staff seemed inexperienced, but they made up for it with their friendliness and a very service-minded attitude. A good evening in Aalborg with good friends!

Wonderful waiters, very attentive, friendly service with a smile. The range of shared starters for the table were out of this world and their pizza are phenomenal. Compliments to the chefs!

Very happy with the food and atmosphere, but unable to accommodate allergy requests and serve gluten for celiac orders. Not good.

Veldig god mat og hyggelig betjening . Bare en liten uting er at de tar seg grådig betalt for vanlig vann . Vi hadde pizza og lasagne!

We have just picked up Tapas take-away at San Giovanni... Really really delicious... While we were waiting we talked to the most friendly and amazing staff... It's not the last time we order tapas from here, but it certainly won't be the last time we visit either 😊
