Sans Souci Frederiksberg

The star of French gastronomy in Frederiksberg! A sublime restaurant that serves French classics without tremor and with self-confidence with its own interpretations that only add an even higher level of estorian elements! Had breakfast here and was fairly underwhelmed. Lobster roll was shrimp salad? Croissant with too sour avocado and a cold smiling egg. The consistency of boiled egg with avocado did not work, a warm poached egg would have been a better solution in several respects. Or at least a warm boiled egg. Fried eggs with chanterelles, spinach, and walnuts were delicious, but lacked bread. Coffee with oat drink tasted of Oatly, which unfortunately has a not so nice acidity. It was cold in the room too. But service was on point!

Freshly baked croissant with avocado, smiling egg and grated cheese. Really delicious!

Lovely 3 course lunch for 395 with mushroom toast, fish of the day and tarte tatin

I think it's rude to serve store-bought rye bread with what is supposed to be quality sandwiches. The toppings were delicious though. A bit strange with grated cheese on top of chicken salad? It took an incredibly long time between servings. I went up and told the waiters in the end. One of them took it well and said that the coffee was on the house bill. Good style. But the other one started wanting to argue about it? It took over 50 minutes from when we finished until we got the next serving.

Sublime service from the best waiter in the world☺️ At least in Denmark. He was a seasoned waiter and managed to make the evening run smoothly and you almost didn't have to lift a finger because he also came and refilled your almost or empty glasses. Cozy atmosphere and nicely decorated restaurant. A place I will definitely come back to, and recommend to friends and acquaintances who are missing a nice place to celebrate something. I'm not a wine expert at all but the white wine was nuanced. Large wine glasses 🍷😜

Traditional French. Maybe a little too traditional. But nice service and cozy historic premises.
