Had a good lunch at Sans Souci. I got a glass of Riesling and ordered gougeres as starters. Stinky french food as usual :) For main dish I got recommended to order poisson à la meunière, which I did. In all honesty, it was terrible. It tasted so so bad, I had to send it back and I never send anything back. The staff was so kind to bring me a pepper steak instead, which was absolutely wonderful. For dessert, I treated myself to an apple tarte tartin along with a cup of coffee. It was so wholesome, loved it.
The interior of the restaurant is really beautiful and really gives the impression that this is a 122 year old establishment. The staff is very helpful and kind. Except the fish, everything was just fine.

This is a Copenhagen dining legacy place (has a long and strong history), which is felt with the ambience in the dining rooms.
The restaurant is serving French cooking (Brasserie style) with both menu and a la carte, and the food is absolutely fine and tasty. Waiters are splendid, polite and will give you good advice. You feel welcome.
I was accompanied by a date, and we chose a 3 cours serving and a splendid glass of wine. With the espresso the bill ended at appr. 1.200 DKK.
We were both very pleased with the visit, and highly recommend this restaurant.

Really nice and cozy Frederiksberg restaurant, a bit of practice Parisian steak was sold out such a 'big' go out on Saturday. Had breaded fish with prawns, nice experience, maybe a little more mayo on the side in a bowl a bit dry otherwise and less dill 😝great service! We'll be back, there's a lot more to try than smørrebrød

Excellent experience. French-Danish cuisine on-point. All aspects of Sans Souci are well executed: from the staff to the ambience, lighting and aesthetic. We had our wedding dinner here and can recommend the restaurant to anyone desiring an upscale dinner that isn’t unfairly priced, while serving world-class staples. 5/5 Thank you 🙏🏻
