Such an amazing food experience. I always wanted to try out African food and this was the first time experiencing it. The food can sometimes be spicy, but it so full of flavour and together with an alcohol-free Landmonn it made it balance it out. I took the Sambus (beef), with Jollof Rice as the main and Pili Pili Muhugo as extra. Every option was tasty and I would have loved to try them all out.

Absolutely fantastic. Been here quite a few times and each time is so amazing. The food is unbelievably delicious, staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is super cosy. I’m coming back again soon and can’t wait❤️ Well done, you should be proud of yourselves🥰

Loved this place! It was pretty busy when we went, so service was a bit slow, but the food was well worth the wait. We ordered the tasting menu and found it to be very good value - I’d definitely recommend doing this as you’ll get to try more dishes and still leave very full. As an aside, I loved that their menu tells you where each dish is commonly eaten in Africa!

14/10/2025: Was super packed because the cocktails are so cheap but the crowds move around fairly quickly so my friend and I didn’t wait too long to get a seat. Love the concept and the cocktails were surprisingly really good for being on tap!! I will definitely be back
05/10/2025: Overall, we had a nice evening. The cocktails are inexpensive by Copenhagen standards, but expensive by European standards, as they contain very little alcohol. The restaurant's design is rather minimalist and not very cozy, but that fits the concept.

25/10/2025: We visited on the birthday night of our weekend trip of Copenhagen, and much like the city it sits in - El Goldie was simply delightful. Cocktails were fantastic, guacamole and salsa wetting the appetite before some truly awesome tacos. Beef and Shrimp were our choice, coupled with some spicy margaritas. The staff were friendly, attentive and forthcoming with suggestions. The candle in the corn cake for my birthday was a cute touch, followed by a house shot with the owner. Credit to her for what she has done with the place.
