Delicious food, it tasted as if it were homemade. One of the best foods I've ever had and would recommend this place to anyone.

The first question, I ask myself on eating at a place for the first time is would I return? Ate here yesterday, returned today and will do so tomorrow. Why? Because it's vitally important to support independent business who are trying their best to provide a customer focused service in these times when far too many customers display bad manners. The food : had two different meals, each arrived prompt, appetising to look at and satisfying to eat. The service : I liked the hurley burley vibe from the staff of balancing orders and making sure all was being done to get the 'job' done. Noted a number of satisfied customers who on paying their bills complimented positively on the food and service. Atmosphere : Friday night was buzzing and overhead the manager having to turn people away as no spaces then or later would be available. In short, for anyone like me, a visitor to Copenhagen, eating here will not be a disappointment.

Ordered the tasting menu which consisted of a couple of appetizers (samosa with beef and chachumbari), small stews (suqaar, chicken peanut stew, vegan peanut stew and vegan chakalaka) with rice and bread and a couple of chili sauces, see pictures. We weren't quite full, so we ordered African "fries" (alloco) and fried plantains. With water it came to 350 kr. per person in total. Taste and quantity: The samosa with beef was standard, as was the crispy bread with tomato. They generally lacked a little more punch in the spices, but that wasn't a problem, because the two chili sauces really make up for it. Very delicious chili sauce (and great with several different ones to choose from!). Gives the appetizer 4/5. The small stews were also excellent - again lacking a little more punch, but were saved by the chili sauces (4/5). The rice was standard (3/5). The bread was elastic and delicious (5/5). Very classic type of African bread, which I also remember being able to buy in Morocco. The African fries were very much like regular French fries (4/5). Good chili mayo (5/5). I wasn't a big fan of the fried bananas, but it is authentic African, and that's what we wanted (2/5). Satiety: Generally too small portions, which is why we had to order more. Price: If I compare it to places like Masklubben's restaurants that charge about the same price for a tasting menu, the price is too high compared to the quality you get. Atmosphere: Excellent. Service: Sweet, concise young woman. The food came very quickly. The overall experience is 4/5 stars.

Everything was amazing! Definitely recommend!

We were visiting from Canada for a week+ and this was one of our favorite dinners. Ambiance is great, food delicious and flavorful. As someone who has spent a lot of time in East Africa, I was delighted by the flavors!

Best food and service I’ve had for as long as I can remember. Staff were really nice and we were seated and served quickly. Also lots of great options for vegetarians (as well as lots of meat too).

I've been eating sambusa for twenty years. But I've never had sambusa as good as here. Totally delicious, crispy and well seasoned... I'll definitely be back.

This restaurant is must visit when you go to coppenhagen. It's all about Pan-Africa food Of course we sampled Somali food and Joloff rice meals Woow Taste on point,Deliciousness on another level. Devine food really. You must visit this restaurant Staff amazing Services excellent. Atmosphere electric. Just beautiful

Fantastic food that fills you up. This won't be the last time I eat there, and I'm already looking forward to the next time!
