Amazing Pan African food! We loved the Somalian flat bread and the peanut vegan chilli (we had the 10 servings tasting menu). Good price for Copenhagen. The waitress and the waiter were super nice and found us a table even if we did not book in advance.

Delicious food and drink. Was quite full. Shared Bajiya for starter with a strong green chilli sauce as well as chachumbari which was lovely fresh. Sugaar for main course - good taste. They do not serve alcohol, but there is plenty of other selections, including their spiced tea.

Their Jollof rice, served with tender, juicy chicken, is simply the best I’ve ever tasted – rich, smoky, and bursting with the kind of flavor that only comes from a deep understanding of traditional cooking techniques. Every bite transported me straight to West Africa, and the chicken was cooked to perfection, complementing the rice beautifully. Sasaa also offers an amazing selection of seafood, prepared with the same attention to detail and flavor. On top of that, their samosas are a must-try – crispy, flavorful, and filled with goodness. The atmosphere at Sasaa is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff who are happy to guide you through the menu and make recommendations. It’s more than just a meal; it’s an experience that I’ll remember for a long time. If you want to taste the best African food in Denmark, look no further than Sasaa. It’s a hidden gem that deserves all the recognition for its incredible food and hospitality. I can’t wait to go back!

Food was amazing, but took a star off for slow service. We had to ask multiple times for water and to tell them we were ready to order. Went with a group of 6 and everyone loved their food.
