The room is clean, spacious, and fully equipped. It is not far from tourist attractions.

The hotel is in a fantastic central location, and everything is easily accessible on foot, which is great. The lobby is very nice, and the staff is friendly. The rooms are okay, although they do show their age. Unfortunately, the bed was much too soft; we sank right into it (we're not tall and of average build), and there was a musty smell coming from the bathroom drain. There was only one chair, even though there were two of us, which was inconvenient. It was clean, though. It was sufficient for our weekend trip, but I wouldn't want to stay there longer. For Copenhagen, the price-performance ratio was good, considering it's a very expensive city, and the hotel/our room was comparatively inexpensive. We had booked without breakfast, as it was too expensive for two mornings (it was supposed to cost around €35 ​​per person per morning). However, there are plenty of cafes nearby.

Great staff, great location. Our only problems were, which we didn't do, if you want to leave your bags before or after you check in.. they charge, which is scandalous, especially when you cant check in till 1630, and you arrive at 10am, unless you pay extra for an early check-in. The rooms are tired, and have seen better days. Breakfast wasn't brilliant. Plenty of choice but nothing to write home about, the best part was a ginger shot they gave out free.. As for copenhagen its expensive. We asked for a lake view room, but got a city view. They never even supplied milk for the tea/coffee tray.. overall I'd give it 5 out of 10. I won't be coming back.

Great location, we had a family suite on floor 15 which had amazing views. Friendly staff. Highly recommended! :-)

5/5 stars – Conference stay at Scandic Copenhagen Warm welcome When I enter Scandic Copenhagen’s entrance on Vester Søgade, it almost feels like entering an enchanted room. The colors are warm and vibrant, the light soft – like a painting in motion. There is an immediate sense of calm and elegance. Friendly service From the start, we are greeted by a guide who asks which event we are attending. She leads us calmly on our way – it feels personal, even in the crowd. The surplus is clear, and it creates trust immediately. Delicious breakfast The buffet is divided into small “islands”: freshly baked buns, cheese, jam, and skyr with various toppings. There is both regular coffee and a coffee machine, juice, Danish water – everything is well organized and plentiful. It is a breakfast experience where everyone can find their own place, without confusion. Conference room with comfort The venue can accommodate over 100 participants, but it never feels cramped. The design of the chairs allows for some freedom of movement, the temperature is pleasant, and the acoustics are clear and calm. It is a room that invites both concentration and presence. Lunch with a twist The lunch takes place in a lounge area, and the guide shows us to the food, which is again served in several islands. There are Caesar salads, bulgur, fish cakes, potatoes, root vegetables, beef stroganoff and a fine dessert and cheese selection. Everything is well-prepared and varied. When my colleague asks if she can finish her cheese plate in the conference room, the guide immediately says yes and even asks if she wants some more food – flexibility and service of the highest class. Service & flexibility The guides’ friendliness and efficiency are impressive. They make sure that we are not stuck, but flow easily through the day – it makes the whole experience smooth and pleasant. A small note During the breaks there were long queues for the women's toilets, and the changing room is only in the women's area. It feels a bit stereotypical and could be improved by having gender-neutral toilets like Scandic Sluseholmen has – but it doesn't affect my overall impression of a really successful day. Note: This is my experience of the conference stay — I haven't stayed at the hotel, so I can't comment on the rooms. Conclusion A stylish, quiet and professional conference stay with beautiful aesthetics, delicious food and excellent service. My rating: 5 out of 5 stars.
