Scandic Copenhagen København

For a hotel of this size, we were largely surprised at how bare the room is. Other than a small safe deposit box and an ironing board, there were no basics like a kettle with tea or coffee or even a mini fridge. (You can get hot water in the lobby but have to pay for coffee or tea there in the ‘shop’) The beds were comfortable, but were more like singles. The missus and I had to shift the beds together. The room was relatively dark as it was mostly mood lighting. Electrical plugs were sufficient and there were a couple next to the beds. The room can get noisy especially if the upstairs guests walk heavily or shift luggage or furniture around. Breakfast was okay but they presented the same food on all four days. Even with the option of making a reserved time, it can get really crowded. Room cleaning can also be scheduled via their app but it seemed to be largely changing towels and clearing the rubbish. There was dirt on the floor corners that were there prior to our entry into the room, that were also there during our stay. The bathroom was large and water pressure was good. Wifi worked relatively well, but you have to re-sign in every 24 hours. Location was okay, and you can walk to Copenhagen train central within 10-15 minutes. There are also 3-4 supermarkets nearby.

We found our room to be very dusty and generally poorly maintained. The sink had trouble draining and there was toothpaste on the bathroom floor. The pillows for our room appeared to be the rejects as they were very small and flat. While the hotel is close to the train station and Tivoli gardens, staying east of the train station had better activities and was closer to food options.

Was on a weekend in Kbh with two children and wanted to treat ourselves to a junior suite. Yes, it is bigger but there is not much more luxury about it unfortunately. No wardrobe and very few storage options, so we had to keep our clothes on the windowsill. No fridge. In addition, a small bathroom with a glass door that cannot be closed or locked and that does not go all the way to the door frame. So the toilet experience is obviously something you have to share with your travel companions, and possibly curious children, not cool! If you want a normal toilet, you have to go to the basement.

Rooms were really small. Breakfast has some different tastes, not bad. F&B personnel was amazingly kind!

Nice hotel in a good location. Wonderful staff. Amazing breakfasts!!

Cosy place to stay. Quite far from the Airport but places within the city were quite accessible, including the HoHo tour busses.
