Scandic Front København

The hotel impresses with its location and is a good starting point for exploring Copenhagen. The receptionists are not very communicative and keep things short and to the point: no explanations, tips or the like. Even arriving with small children makes no difference. We then paid the equivalent of around 20 euros more for the stay than stated in the booking confirmation. To date, no one has been able to explain to us why. The breakfast is good and offers everything you need. After three nights, however, it becomes very monotonous. The rooms are very shabby. There are holes or something loose everywhere. Dust upon dust in the maisonette rooms. And the rooms are so noisy that you can actually hear every footstep from your neighbors. Not to mention screaming children. The water on the top floor stinks. The drain and toilet were not working properly. And the best thing: you can only receive room cleaning even if you stay for several days if you register via the app. So designed more efficiently than guest-oriented. All in all you have to say the hotel is overpriced, which is probably more than usual in a city like Copenhagen in the tourist center. It's a shame, as many guests are no longer encouraged to come back - both for the hotel and the city.

Quiet hotel. We had a room on the 6th floor (with elevator fortunately) nice room, bed a little too soft for me who prefers firm beds. We spent a pleasant weekend with the family, the staff is friendly and takes care of taxis when needed, an umbrella rental service is available at reception.

Good location, clean rooms and common areas and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was nice with good alternatives. It’s get a little crowded as the restaurant is not very big so be prepared to sit close to other guests. Very environmental focused hotel is a plus. The rooms are very standard. A plus for the heating in the bathroom floor, otherwise there was very standard bathroom without any shelving in the shower. Water pressure was good which is lucky at the shower head was not very large. There is no vanity set or shoehorn so bring your own. We would not hesitate to stay again, good value for money.

The location is perfect and the room was clean and spacious.

God hotel til en enkelt eller to overnatninger. Sengen var dog meget blød. Toilettet var lidt beskidt i krogene. Men i alt ganske hyggeligt og fint.

Eine Reise wert. Sehr gutes Frühstück und sehr zentral gelegen. Zimmer sind ok und reichen vollkommen aus.

Scandic Front er Københavnsk middelklasse, hverken godt eller skidt. Vi havde en mini-suite, og den skal i hvert fald roses for et enormt badeværelse med en kæmpe bruser i loftet. Til gengæld var beliggenheden på første sal ud mod den travle plads ikke ideel. Scandic kæden gør en del ud af at maskere besparelser/serviceforringelser som miljøtiltag, således også den manglende rengøring. Det klæder ikke hotel kæden at antage, at deres gæster hopper på den limpind. Morgenmaden er god uden at være prangende, bacontern i stedet for bacon i skiver er dog diskvalificerende, og dette hotel skal ikke have mere end tre stjerner.
