Great place to go and eat, have been there several times now for both brunch and dinner and can only recommend it, the prices are probably on the high end but the food is fantastic and you leave feeling full, which is important when the prices are what they are.

Exactly what we needed. A quick lunch. You could also get brunch which looked really fresh and delicious

We celebrated a birthday with the brunch at Seggelund. The food was delicious, the service very friendly and a great atmosphere.

We have had takeaway from Seggelund a few times and it has been delicious every time. Personally, I am very happy with their Wienerschnitzel.

We stopped by for lunch on a Saturday, the place was really well attended and the food was made from scratch, a good recommendation from here👍

Super place, cozy and good food

WOW I'll just say, I've driven past this place many times and thought about going in there one day and it happened today, to that I just say wow. I've always thought it was just an old dirty bistro, It's not, there's a really nice atmosphere in there and a super good service. When we arrived it was full of cars outside and I thought there were probably a lot of people in there, there were and for good reason. The food was fantastic, the price was ok and the atmosphere was great.... It's worth the trip to take the highway and stop by and eat.

IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE 10 STARS FOR THE FOOD. I don't really know where to start, because there is so much to reflect on. Let's start by saying that it is super cozy there, it's a bit like the old days with a cafeteria, only more modern. There were quite a few young people and these young girls, they just didn't stand still, there was always a cloth going and wiping behind the counter. Then there is the food, we had ordered 2 times Wienerschnitzel, with fried potatoes and peas, the sauce had to be bought extra, but we gladly did. First the plate, it was so hot, my husband burned his fingers 😂 the fried potatoes had so much flavor (not bag potatoes, but real potatoes with bite in them) then there was the meat, it was so tender and delicious, the bearnaise sauce was homemade. we weren't quick to eat, but even the last bite was lukewarm, wow how delicious. It's been a long time since we left a place so satisfied. WE WILL DEFINITELY COME AGAIN. Would definitely recommend to others.

When you walk through the door of Seggelund, the first impression is unmistakable: the place exudes decades of history. The smell, the cold and the slightly worn-out surroundings tell their own story. There is not much innovation or atmosphere to be found here – rather a feeling that time has stood still. On the other hand, the service was a positive surprise: present, welcoming and unhurried. The menu is large, and both the food and drink selection is wide. A nice wine fridge is even tempting, but the impression of the room continued to draw down – so the jacket remained on throughout the meal. The choice fell on a classic steak sandwich. After about 15 minutes of waiting, the chip beeped and the food was placed on the counter. The dish was a mixed experience: crispy fries and good, crispy onion rings pulled up, and the bun was fresh and airy. On the other hand, the steak was disappointing, as it was overcooked and dry, while the sauce lacked depth and flavor. The result was a mediocre whole – edible, but without sparkles. You don't leave Seggelund with a culinary experience to write home about, but you leave full. And maybe that's actually the premise of the place: to serve classic dishes in generous portions to people who just want to satisfy their hunger. I probably don't come for the atmosphere or the finesse of the cuisine – but if I'm on the go and need a solid meal, I might stop by again.
