Selfish København

I visited Selfish in Copenhagen for the first time, and it was also my first experience with traditional sushi made by “real Japanese people – at least according to them”. Regardless, I have to say that the experience was really good. The service was friendly and attentive, the food came quickly, and the quality was high. The place is also very cozy and relaxed, which made the visit even better. All in all, a really good experience – I would definitely come back.

The best sushi place in Copenhagen with fresh fish in nice, thick pieces. Really good seaweed salad without artificial color! There is the option of quick takeaway menus, or dining in the small restaurant, where you can try the different specialties of the day.

Best sushi in Copenhagen by far. Only caveat is that the place is very small, hence only for takeaways.

This tiny restaurant delivered fresh Japanese cuisine with exceptional authenticity and style. I visited first on a weekday night the jazz music played quietly in the background the super friendly team took my order. The chef prepared the food with care and passion. The vibe was very cool. I returned the following night as the food was good and just around the corner from my hotel. The stand out moment was when I was leaving after my meal and the chef remembered me and thanked me for returning to his restaurant.
